There is only one name that I really love and want to name my new baby. The problem is that my husbands step brother, that by the way, we only see once maybe twice a year and has a different last name has a daughter with this name! My husband and his family keep telling me that I can't choose that name because it will make people mad! I don't think that it is fair. I want to name my baby this name. And it's not to copy anbody, I've loved this name for a long time! What should I do? Is really that terrible to share this name?!

i am really sorry but i am sick of hearing people say that its either impossible or you cant have you period while you are pregnant....

when i was prgnant with my first child i was 16 and i had my period all the way through my pregnancy until i was 8 months and it was spot on every month i never skipped a period and it never came late or early
i am now pregnant with my second child and even this time i had my period until i was just over 2 months
the reason i am bringing this up is i see alot of post where people are saying that if you have had your period youre not pregnant etc

For the life of me i don't get it. Some people see a baby and just lose it, I look at babies and see all humanity. Maybe he's cute now, but i'm sure Hitler was someone's little bundle of love sometime too.
And what's so cute about a small person who can't control themselves, feed themselves, and then to reward you, throw up on you?

Single Parents?
In to-days socielty, young single unemployed girls are getting pregnant and expect the state to provide for them.
If these people are stupid enough to get pregnant without being married or enough money to support themselves and the child, should the state refuse to support them and the child be adopted?
why is this right? its a very sterotipical thing to say like me saying "all people who abuse wellfair are black" whats the difference? its a mean thing to say people who are poor dont deserve children (that basicly what she said) narrow minded people are why we are at war and why all wars are started! many stuck up people think like this, is it because they themselfs do not know how hard it can be for some people in this world and not everyone had things givin to them!

I'm thinking of becoming a childminder, but won't have any qualifications (apart from first aid) to start with. I have got some experience with children as a first time mum to a 3 month old. I also work in summer camps a couple of years ago with kids aged 3-10. I'm French and so would like to make learning French a big part of my proposal.
If you wanted your kid to learn French, would you consider me as a chilminder even though I have no qualifications??

I've asked so many questions on here but I love to hear others views. Me and my ex of 7 years broke up and he moved 2000 miles away..Well, he moved before we broke up..I know there isn't another woman. I am pregnant with his child and we are very young...22 & 23. We had our wedding planned before the baby. Dr. said I would never be able to have kids..my ex wanted one and I ended up getting pregnant. We wasn't trying because of what the Dr. told me. He was very excited while I was kind of depressed because I wanted to be married and have my degree. Now, I wish he comes back and I know alot of people thinks that is stupid. We had a pretty good relationship, His father walked out on him as a baby. He tells me he misses me and loves me but picks stupid fights..Does distance really make the heart grow fonder?? I told him last night we shouldn't talk until we clear our heads..Has this every happened to anyone?

A teacher brings a 6 yr old into the emergency department after he fell over and injured his wrist. There is minimal swelling and no deformity of the wrist. The child is dressed in a shabby t-shirt and shorts, in the middle of winter. His skin is dirty and his hair is knotty and tangled. The child's mother arrives soon afterwards and from the conversation with her it is identified that she is a single parent on a low income. She tells staff that she works 3 venings per wk and leaves her child at home with his 12yr old cousin. The mother looks very young. is dressed nicely and wearing jewellery

I need ideas for activities and hobbies that I can do during my free time. My husband has agreed to watch our three girls so I can have me time. It'll probably only be like once every week or two. And it can't cost a lot.

Okay I thought we had agreed on child support & child custody now 5 days before we are suppose to go back to a San Diego judge, his lawyer sends something to my lawyer saying they don't agree to a couple of things.
1) He want 50/50 physical custody.
I understand the meaning my problem is in the last 3 months since we decided visition him with 9% and me with 91%, he has back out about a lot & only had her 5%. I have kept a journal since she was born. HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT
What should I do?
2) 50% of child care.
I am a ms student, I work about 18hrs a wk as a book keeper(I can take her with me). Right now he refuses to go with a daycare. He wants her to have nannies full time. I have a nanny and he has one that's how we split it. I told him after 5/20 I could no longer afford nannies and since I get funded for child care we should go with the day care on campus. He still wants a nanny in his office one day a week. Should I have to cover half or that? or only the daycare.
Help

Im 27weeks preg &already stressing bout having mom in delivery room &/or at home 1st week babys here bc of her drinking. Mom drinks early as10am &doens't stop til she goes 2sleep(wen shes not working)drinking makes her lazy &ofcourse VERY unhelpful. I do believe shes alcoholic &have told her many times. She says when she comes here shes on Vacation. We live 700miles apart so technically she is,But it still upsets me vry much.
I have a 3 year old &1 on the way.I have told her that I don't want her drinking or drunk early in the morning, incase I go into labor early &she needs to watch my 3yr old. I told her I cant have her watch him if shes drunk(this is a time I need her 2really help me out) she says she can have a few beers& that Im being selfish. I want my mom here for my delivery &baby but dnt know wat 2do? Should I just suck it up since its only for 1week cause I really love my mom &want her here. Its not that Im against drinking jus that its not appropriate during this time.

my husband wanted another girl after Charlenne (first baby) and we did, and then it's 7 months into pregnancy and I haven't thought of a name yet. (husband and I wanted "A" name"

what do you think? not too common, please. (Not Alan, or something like that. Alex... I don't like those common names.)
