TruthHurts want to know if men want to be at the birth of their babies. He doesn't like all the blood and gunge that accompanies the birth.
Well, neither did I. I didn't have a choice. I'd have liked a nice clean little parcel handed over to me instead of spending hours writhing on a bed in pain. (Natural childbirth is for the birds.) And yes, I didn't like the fact that it was so undignified.
But the one person I wanted to share the magic moment of our baby's birth was my husband.
Yes, he was useless. But that didn't matter. It was OUR baby!
It didn't work out that way - I had an emergency caesar for our second and our first - he was busy discussing our options with the doctor in the passage outside the room. I still wanted him to be with me. Why would you want your husband to be there?

We lost our precious daughter at 22 weeks due to Turner's Syndrome. I went into labor and 12 hours later gave birth to a two lb 1 oz. baby girl whom we named Elisabeth. Unfortunately we knew that we would never hear her cry.

My question is, the doctors told me three months before we try again. I have read that you can just wait one cycle. We want to be pregnant NOW but dont want to put next baby at risk. However Medicaid runs out Dec. 5th. Would like to be preg. by then. I would like to know if anyone had any similar problems and can give me some concrete answers.

I just want to be able to give birth again and love it. I feel like this is my last chance. I'm more verbal with telling everyone my want. But hubby is happy with our 15,11,&8 year olds. I'm happy too, but have room for just one more little one.
Am I crazy or is this the start of the midlife crisis that women sometimes go thru?
For the last 8months that's all that is on my mind is another baby.
Will this feeling go away or should I just find some other way to fulfil my need and want.
I just feel like being all to that little someone.
Any suggestions?

I have been breastfeeding my son for 6 1/2 months. Recently I have been thinking about switching to formula because my son is irritable most of the time, and I am not sure he is getting full. He is wanting to eat about every 2-2 1/2 hours which he should be past this stage. I feel like if I stop nursing now, I will be a failure one because most people do it for at least 9-10 months, and 2 my mom keeps encouraging me to continue. I am starting to work next week 3 days a week, and can't decide what to do. Will my child resent me for stopping to nurse? Please help!!!

What are your memories when you were pregnant. Do you ever miss being pregnant? Ive had two boys and i loved being pregnant with them. I also have two step sons. So we figured 4 was enough, well i went in to talk with my OB/GYN about getting my tubes tied. And 2 weeks later found out i was pregnant....Im so excited now...I really missed being pregnant. Now i cant wait to feel the baby move and hear the heartbeat for the first time....What are your memories, what did you like the most about being pregnant and what do you miss the most? How did your pregnancies differ? Just curious :)

My wife and I have a beautiful baby girl and we are already thinking of the next child. We want to adopt and possibly adopt a boy. We would also like to get a child who is a little older since people tend to forget about them. However we have a boy's name that obliviously did not get used and would like to change our adopted child’s name to it. How old is too old to change a name. I know if you get an infant you can change it because they have not began to recognize it yet.
