My husband confuses me, I say I only want our two children and he says maybe later we could have one more and I say no and then he says okay, yeah one more baby would be a lot to handle.

I was just wondering if anyone could think of something nice and unique to do in the babies nursery, without it being obviously religious... I dont want to push any religion on my child (or my hubby doesnt at least)

I'm 4 months pregnant and so far the people I work with are telling me what and how I should be eating, nagging me about my ONE SMALL cup of coffee that I CAN drink. Me wearing a belt "too tight", and shaving my stomach because it causes stretch marks. WTF!!! I'm not an idiot, and I get enough of that from my mother in law. I've already tried the nice method of "thanking them for their concern" but I'm getting pretty pissed off with these people. Please help before I end up on trail for murder.

They wake up during the night and for my husband to get some sleep we just give them a bottle that has 2 ounces of milk in it. They go right back to sleep but I know if I take the bottle away during the night, that it will mess up our sleeping pattern. We just started getting 4 hours of sleep at a time. It's nice compared to 2 hours.

I know some people who said they would never have kids, and ended up pregnant. Most of them have no problem with abortion, yet for some odd reason or another they chose to have the child. Does anyone out there have any opinion about this?

I am 39 weeks pregnant. I am 1cm and fully effaced, but I have been that way for a month now. I am having contractions about every 20 min. so far. They are hard but not getting closer yet or stronger. I was wondering if this is going to be it..how long does it take for them to get closer or stronger? I am setting on the couch and drinking water, cause I was told if they were false then drinking a lot of water will kill them out..and it hasnt yet and I have drank a ton so far. Should I do nipple stimulation to get them stronger or closer, will that work? and what else. Sorry this is my first pregnancy. Thanks for all your help.

dont want the titles of being "girlfriend and boyfriend". everyone that knows us knows that we are together in every sense of the word, but that's not the issue. we are planning on moving in together in january in which we would be together 9 months. i have a 2 year old daughter and they get along great. he also wants to get married in early 2008 (which would be 2 years) and we are planning on having children also. i dont know how to tell my parents i am moving out to live with him so i need advice. my mom is very into church and dont like the "shacking up before marriage" stuff because she flipped out when i told her i was pregnant (and not married) with my daughter????????

I have had 7 pregnancies and only 1 child never had a stillbirth or a late miscarrige. Im now nearly 26 weeks and im so scared, i keep hearing of people still losing their babies at 32 weeks etc. Is there no safey point.Will I be better off asking for a section if I will be allowed one? Why do babies die?

I am a 28 year old pediatrician and my husband is a 32 year old cardiologist, we have been married for 4 years and were dating and living together for 7 years before we got married. We just bought a nice family house 2 years ago, but we have no children. We are considering adoption because that has always been our first choice for starting a family, we are mostly likely going to adopt from the Ukraine or China but we aren't sure how many children we want to have (I want 3 and he wants 1). Do you think 3 children is to many and do you think 1 child will get lonely with out any siblings ? How many children do you have / want to have ? Have you ever adopted ?
