When they wake up, don't give them milk/formula...Give them water. They will soon stop waking up for water. At one, they do not nutritionally need the extra milk in the night, it is more of a habit for them now. Good Luck!

First off you didn't mention how old the twins are/ Secondly, if you want to ween them from the bottle, you can't give it to them during the day either. You have to start giving them a sippy cup through out the day, and make sure you have a daily routine such as a certain time of day they nap and wake up, a bed time routine where they eat and have some milk, etc.. I would just make sure you give them a half filled sippy cup with warm milk just before bed time, and than tuck them in and either read to them or let them listen to some classical music, and when they wake up during the night do not pick them up, you can change their diapers if they are still in diapers in the crib, than tell them that everything is ok, and than shut the door, and even if they start to cry again just peek your head in the door let them know you are there and say it is night night time, and shut the door. It may take a while for them to learn to put themselves to sleep, but eventually they will learn to get themselves back to sleep. Just don't let them control you.

You didn't say how old they are. I am assuming they are fairly newborns. Their little stomachs don't hold much, you can't deprive them of their food.
Check with your pediatrician if they are old enough to feed them cereal before they go to sleep for the night, that will hold them longer. If not, then 2 hours is better than nothing! Good Luck and enjoy those children!

You just have to start letting them fuss around a little without the bottle. you didn't say if you give it to them when they take a nap or not. you will lose some sleep but that is how it is.

well it's going to be sucky! My son was 14 months when he went off the bottle and it was his new years resoultion. you have to show the babies by giving them a bottle won't work and that they bottle is going to younger babies so they can eat. give them a sippy cup that they like at night. Giving drinks at night through can cause tooth decay
