yes, you should want the baby for the right reasons, but i think you already know that from the way you frased your question

Your jealousy will not last forever but your child will be with you for life. Having a baby out of jealousy is never a good thing. There are no guarantees that it will work out with you and the dad, and being a single parent is extremely hard. Just give yourself time to cool off the jealousy thing. Keep yourself as busy as possible, and have a baby for the right reasons when the time comes. Even though it is wrong to do that, it is completely understandable. People will sometimes do anything out of jealousy. The key is too wait it out and let the jealousy go away. If it is over a guy, it eventually will.

You want to ask a little person to come here that you admit it is not time for just because you're jealous and want to get back at someone or that your jealous that they are pregnant and you're not?
You're already a mother. Great. If you don't want to have another child simply becuase you love being a mother so much and want to add another wonderful gift to your family, you have no right to have another child right now. Wait till the time is right and welcome the child with open loving arms!!!!!

Many of my friends and family have been having babies lately. We have a 19 month old daughter, but I've been thinking about having another baby all the time. It occurs to me that if we dont start trying soon, our kids will be farther apart in age than we want. Ideally, its not the best time in our lives financially, but I believe my heart is ready. I've heard from a lot of other moms that they experience baby-cravings too. Maybe you are more ready than you think.

We all have things we WANT, but that doesn't mean that we're going to follow through with them. Every person who judges another should remember that they have petty desires, too.
If you're just daydreaming about another baby, no, of course that is not wrong. You say you know it's not the time, so you will make the right choice.
Don't be harsh with yourself. Love yourself, love your family.

you sound like my sister! kids are expensive , don't be selfish.
i has my baby 6 months ago, my sister wanted another 1 so bad. she's jealous of anyone who is pregnant, and behold 1 month after i had my son, she was already 1 month preggo.
dont do it until the time is right!

What do you mean by jealousy? Is there someone you know that's pregnant and you're trying to compete? I wouldn't do that, it's very immature.
