In the state I live,if you breastfeed after the age of2 its a felony! That is soooo uncalled for.A five year old child has NO business breastfeeding!why would a mother even try to justify breastfeeding a 5 year old.Im sorry but theres just something wrong with that. What do you do,go to his school while hes in kendregarten and say excuse me,I need to breastfeed! what in the world!?

I mean ok someone asks a specific question, states what they know or are willing to do and people just ignore that? For example every question I ask involving my son as soon as they see he is 1 and still nurses FOR NAPS and BEDTIME. I get tons of quit nursing answers. It dosnt madder what I asked about! I've seen stuff like this on other questions too. I just dont get it! Why cant people just answer the question and if they cant answer it with something helpful then just dont answer? are the 2 points really that important to them?

Okay, just to warn you this is a two part question and a LONG one.

First my fiance is trying to get back in the lives of his two wonderful boys and it is going great. His ex has decided to say that if he wants to do this "by the book" then he
needs to provide insursance for the boys because the youngest,
Zachary, needs braces and such. But the new court order for child
support also included insurance saying that he must pay 42% of
all "medical, hospitalization, dental, orthodontic, optical, and
pharmaceutical expences incurred by or on behalf of the children and
not convered by insurance, including the deductible, if any." And
it also says that all payments for reimbursement support (medical I
am guess) have to be done through child support.

So basically he just need to tell her that as nicely as possible?

Because in reality Michael (my fiance) and I are both without insurance and Ally (our daughter)
has medicaid because we can not afford insurance.

When I started my new job in July I met a young pregnant woman. Although I did not get to know her very well, I was happy for her and, as most mothers do, bonded on some level with her. I was truly heartsick to learn that her baby boy was stillborn. I will be going to the service for the baby on Monday and, other than, "I am so sorry," I have no idea what to say or do for my friend.

a friend took in a 16 yo girl, who's father kicked her out of his house. he has full custody, and she is unable to return to the mother's due to a legal restraint. my friend would like to foster this child. she is sweet and lovable and looking for stabilty, which my friend is willing to provide. her father did not even enroll her into school, and the girl wants to attend. my friend has no legal papers allowing her any rights to help this child. how would she start helping this girl?

I had a miscarrage in april, which was my second. I still have no children even though I would defiently love one I've been depressed sincee april but dealing with it until today.

A friend of ours who told us she was pregnant about 2 weeks before I knew, she just had her baby and her cousin showed us a picture of this adorable baby boy and all the pain came flooding back.

I decided to tell my boyfriend how I felt instead of keeping it in. When I tod him I knew it wasn't right but I am a little envious of her. I wish I could have had our baby too and they could have rown up togehter, he didn't say anything.

I got frustrated and asked him why he didn't care.

He came back at me with I'm tryin to put my problems out on him and I'm selfish and weak and a hater. He said he needs me to be strong, he needs a woman in his corner who is at least half as strong as him

Am I wrong for not getting over the miscarrage of my baby?

I want opinions on my name. It's not my real name, it's just a combination of my real first and middle names. It's Emrynne. What do you think of it?

What's the funniest/cutest thing you've ever heard a child say (a child that wasn't yours or someone you were related to)?

One of my friends at school is a 16 year old girl.

She was regularly having sex with her boyfriend whom I don't know.

She came up to me a little bit ago and told me that she was pregnant.

She said that if she didn't have an abortion, her boyfriend would kill himself.

She my be a sophomore, but she told me she won't drop out of high school, but she's giving up cheerleading, walking down the graduation isle, and so forth.

She tried to ask me for advice but I was like "uh.."

Help me out? Thanks.

If so do you restrict some channels/tv shows? When they were younger like toddler did you let them watch the Noggin station? Does any educational tv make them dumber or smarter?

Our daughter is just about 9 months old and eating solids (jarred baby food) and rice cereal everyday. With the cooler months coming on, I was wondering when it will be ok for her to have regular oatmeal (old fashioned, not instant).

Many thanks!
