Hi! I am not one to post the same question twice but the women's health section doesn't seem to be as frequented as the Pregnancy section,& I know that if you're a current or expectant parent, you have experience dealing with Doctors. Anyway, my Drs. started me on Plan B emergency contraceptive, the regular birth control pill, in addition to taking a Flucozanel pill for yeast infections, plus, two additional antibiotics...one that has to be taken four times a day,&the other twice a day,all this during the same week. I had to start taking each of these meds on the same day because I went to see my Gyn and Dermatologist on the same day. Now I am starting to feel some side effects. My pharmacist was kind of surprised at all the meds too..especially taking the Plan B&the regular pills on the same day; however, she told me that if my Dr. thought it was fine then it must be. Would you have just followed the Doctors orders, no questions asked? I am worried it might be tough on my system?

I was told a while ago by some one that because my husband is in the Air Force that I was "living off the government." Does anyone else agree? Why or why not? Why would someone think serving our country is the same as living off the government?

The reason this is in Pregnancy and Parenting is because the woman said I wasn't a good parent because my husband was in the military and we were "living off the government."

Hi all!
my wife and i have a 20mo old daughter...well, when my wife first got pregnant (APR04) she began to lose her sex drive. it was like, she didnt even know what sex was. well, after we had our baby, her drive got even worse. i mean, it was like having her only as a friend--except we kissed. im in despair now :-(.....and for the past 2.5yrs its been like this. she doesnt even touch/grope me anymore. no oral, no nothing! (although we've HAVE done it maybe 15-20 time ever since she got pregnant) all she wants to do it cuddle, and im tired of it...y is she being so selfish and inconsiderate? and i hope that there is someone out there that will take my side on this, and not "understand" her...the time for understanding over...she has been like this for almost 2.5yrs now. theres more to type, but i dont want for my tone to anger anyone...but please, please, can someone give me any advice? thank you!

Im Emily and Im 13 years old. I live in Singapore so it may be different in the US. I want to go to the doctor and consult about my periods. It has been 4-5 months now. I know I'm still beginning to have periods but this is sort of long? I've been under stress lately, Singapore is a very tough place. In schools, we have exams every 3 months. Now, Im going through my final year examinations which are very important for me to pass on to the next level. Could this be the reason why my period is absent? Anyway, I plan on consulting a doctor, what do you think he would do to find out the problem? He wont examine me, will he? I wouldnt want that if he is going to check out my body.

Just wondering how people feel about this subject when going into labor. I have been told that I was a failure for getting drugs during labor and that I didn't get to experience the real miracle of birth. Like I wasn't a REAL woman for not going natural. The way I look at it is, I am not going to go have a root canal without drugs so why should I give birth without them. (Granted, I ended up with a c-section) but I did opt for the epidural before that. I wasn't out of it during labor and delivery and I remember and enjoyed every bit of it. I think it is more important to be a good mother for your children.

I should add that I have nothing against women that go naturally. I just don't like being told what a failure I am.

Im Emily and Im 13 years old. A few months ago, my boyfriend and I engaged in intimate contact. We hugged while lying in bed. I assure you we both had our clothes on. I do realise that what we have done was wrong. I don't want to be pregnant and I regret having done that. I have decided that I won't ever be doing it again. Even if you aren't a religous person and don't believe in the Bible, if you still liked the name Judas, would you consider giving it to your child? lol I've always wondered about those types of names...like Judas, or Jezebel, or any name that has negative connotations in the past, but would probably be considered unique and rare in today's society.

if I want a baby but I can't, cuz' I dont have a period every month, I'm irregular... I really want to be a mommy, in one of this Adoption Agency, there's a long waiting list before me and they want a lot of information that I dont have, like to be married and a lot other things. I am 13 years old. I know that i should've had sex but i did. I had sex on the 1,2,and 3 of september. I had a period on the 8th. I took a HPT on the 7th and it said negative. I took another one on the 24th and it said negative. But now i am bloated everyday all day. I don't feel bloated, but when i touch my stomach it feels like there is something in there. One last thing i started my first pack of birth-control in augest, could that have something to do with it? and AM I PREGANT?

How long did it take you to get pregnant after you got off the pill? I was on Seasonale (period once every 4 months). This would be my first cycle by myself to ovulate/menustrate. I haven't started and I have the symptoms of being pregnant. If I was "regular"--which I have been all my life on/off BC pills, could I be pregnant. I have taken 3 PT test (2 before period- 1 day of missed period). Should I wait it out or call my Dr.
