I want a name that nobody else will have. I already have 1 boy and his name is Shaydon. So I might even goes as far to say maybe I am looking for a name that is a little off the wall. Whether it's something that either of us has eaten prior to conception, Or position during sex, if u have doctor approved..or just something you read in a jinx article share your experiences, is there something done prior to conception that may determine what the sex of our baby? ~ An anxious father

If you had a choice, which would you prefer? I pushed for 5 1/2 with my son and ended up having a c-section because he wasn't coming. Turns out his head was so big that it wouldn't fit. They even had to use a vaccum in the c-section. My next baby, I was glad when they wanted to do the c-section. To me it was easier and I didn't have a long recovery. I was at the mall when the baby was 3 days old. (the baby was home with daddy) Just wondering how others feel.

My son is almost 6 months old and the longest he has ever slept at one time was 6 hours. And that was only twice. He will usually sleep maybe 2 hours at a time with 2-45 min naps during the day. I want to try to go back to work part time but find it hard to function on so little sleep. If anyone has any suggestions please help. He ususally wakes up with gas, even though I burp him before putting him down, or everytime he wets a diaper, which can be 2-3 times per night. I am sleep deprived and tired.

If your child came to you once they were grown and married, and they come to you and tell you my husband/wife and I are having marital problems, do you send them back to work things out with their spouse, or let them stay...after all, it is STILL your child? I don't know what i'd do but I do know that sometimes it's not the parents business to be in their child's relationship. Are all parents supposed to take a neutral stance in their children's marital affairs? Isn't that hard?

There is a woman on here that I am truly concerned for her children. I think something needs to be done for her child and feel I should contact someone about the situation. I know for a fact she has children and would really like to help her out. I am not doing this for my own personal problem with her but for my fear for her children. I am very serious about this. Can anyone tell me how I can report her to the correct authorities so that she and her family can get some help?

ok so my husband and I have been tryin to have a baby...and my cycles have all been regular...I'm on a 29 day cycle...and day 29 was this past Sunday (9/24/06), so I should have started my period on the 25th...but it's the 28th...and still no period. I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and both came up negative...they were the "First Response" tests. Any ideas? Advice? What is going on here?!

I am totally sick over that NAMBLA group. In case you missed it, it stands for North American Man Boy Lovers Association. It is a group of pediphiles who try to find new ways to coerce young boys into sex with adults. I am all for freedom of speech and rights but that is a group of sick people who should be stopped, not allowed to form a group to further their nasty purposes. Should this group be legal? Can we as parents find a way to stop these predators?

I really need to be induced on friday so my husband does not have to take off work. my doctor says that would be to early. but the next friday would be to late. My due date was sept. 26. I and being induced because my cervix is not ripe. I dont even know what that means. I am 19 and this is my second kid in 2 yrs. my son came easy buy this pregnancy (a girl) is all problems. is there any thing i can do at home to help rioen my cervix?

He left me a week after I told him I was pregnate. And around the same time i told him this girl kept on coming around and talking to him. He left me because I wouldn't get an abortion and that he couldn't handle my situation. the day after he left he started going out with this girl that kept on coming around. Last night was the worst. We went into out local Outback Steakhouse, which was pretty busy. After a 20 minute wait we were escorted to a row of tables along a wall. The back seat was one big bench that ran the whole length of the wall and had chairs on the other side. There was this big family at the table next to us with a small infant in a carseat on the bench seat very close to our table. It was late and there was no other tables so we just kept our fingers crossed and sat down. Baby was very cute, and very quiet about 12 inches from my husband on the bench seat. Well halfway thru the salad baby messes diaper. I mean really messes diaper!! You know, that awful gag me stench. Well after about 5 minutes hubby politely comments to father that "someone needs a clean diaper". Father smirks ha-ha and continues to eat. I finally had to go get the manager to ask them to change the baby. Babies father was quite peeved at having his meal interupted. Our appetites were gone and before being served main course got up to leave. Manager was quite gracious.."comped" the drinks and salads and gave us a discount coupon for next time. But our meal and our night out was ruined. We grabbed McDonalds on the way home.

How in the HELL can you get credit card companies to stop calling you? I have had the same compnay call me 4 times this week. I've told them to stop calling me and they continue to do so. Isn't there a phone number I can call or something? It's starting to feel like I'm being harassed.
