first of all why would you want to have a baby with a guy you know for 6 months. Sec. yes your weight is a big factor in this. You need to lose some weight first. The more you have sex is really not the best, causes sperm count to go down. No special position is best. Best is during ovulation which occurs right after your menstrual. I would seriously think very hard about the whole deal first before you make a mistake. Its not something you can give back when you dont want it or he walks out on you.

Seriously? 6 months? And the guy is not even a fiance? Are you just feeling old and left behind? It's very selfish of you to want a baby in the conditions you are wanting one in. Give your baby the promise of a stable relationship. Wait for at least a year and use that year to really get to know your boyfriend and create a strong bond with him. Travel, experience life with him, and then think about babies.

Also, if he's not man enough to ask you to marry him before having a baby with you, don't you dare whine when he leaves you for a thinner/funnier/ younger/whatever woman. You don't know him. Not enough to create and share something so important as another persons life.

Weight has nothing to do with it. Take it as an omen.

If you were married - God would be more kind. What kind of man wants to get a woman pregnant, without marrying her first?! And, you want a future with him?! Seriously?!

Wait until he gives you a ring, and the date is set, and the wedding is done. Then, he is a man.

If that doesn't happen - then move on, get a real man, and then think about making babies.

Weight can be a factor. Women who are very overweight can have problems conceiving. Plus it can lead to problems when you are pregnant.

My sister-in-law lost weight and her health improved which lead to her having a healthy pregnancy. Doctor told her to after trying for almost a year.
