How in the HELL can you get credit card companies to stop calling you? I have had the same compnay call me 4 times this week. I've told them to stop calling me and they continue to do so. Isn't there a phone number I can call or something? It's starting to feel like I'm being harassed.

It's not my credit card company that calls, it's other companies wanting me to apply.

Are they calling to sell you a credit card? Or are they calling to get you to pay your bill? They do have a right to call you if you are behind in your payments.

If they are trying to sell you something, put your name on the national do-not-call list, or opt-out list for credit cards.
I'll find you the links.

Not judging you, been there done that. Just that you may need to give them some firm date when they can expect your next payment.... they have a right to ask for that.

Go to Consumer Credit Counseling, a nonprofit organization, if you are having credit card trouble. They will help you eliminate that debt.

I know what you mean my phone keeps ringing constantly and when I check the number it's those same credit cards companies harrassing me too. I am so glad that you brought this up, I was just talking about that with my husband and he told me to ignore the phone.

I can't ignore the phone because other people might be trying to call me... There has got to be a number that these people could be reported to leave us alone...

If they are recordings, hit "3" as soon as you figure out what it is. That removes your number from the list. Hope it helps!

Ask to speak to the supervisor next time they call and then ask to removed from their call list and that if they do not remove you and you get any further calls you will report them to the police for harassment....

Put yourself on the "do not call" registry. It takes a while to kick in, but once it does, they don't call. And, if they do... it is illegal! It is free and you can register several numbers.
