By the way this is a POLL - so it's not an "impossible" question as suggested by one person.

How on earth can you expect a reliable answer to this 'impossible' question ?

its impossible to answer that some people fall 1 st time and others wait and wait.

i was told at 18 id never have kids then had 5 miscarriages and then had m gorgeous daughter and now i cant fall again.

nhs (i UK) cant help until you have been trying for two years, but stop worrying as this doesnt help at all.

and the reason is say its an impossible question is because every individual is different ie, ferility problems, cycle lengths, stress there are so many different reasons why people fall pregnant at different times you just can go by what some one else has seen through.
if only it as as easy as for everyone to stop the pill/contraception etc and concieve the next month

Age 22 my husband and I started trying for a baby, 3 weeks before we were due to get married. We found out the day after the wedding that I was pregnant. 3 years later we have just started trying for number 2, 1st month of trying not pregnant so will just have to wait and see for the next one.

Well, i'm 24 and i got pregnant straight away at the first try. I'm five months pregnant now.
I couldn't believe it though, we r so happy.
But i think i'm one of the lucky ones, some people have to try for several months or even years!!
Please do not put yourself under pressure with it, the mind is a very funny thing. Just enjoy the love and it will happen sooner or later!!!!
Best of luck to u!!!

Personally i fell pregnant immediately, but everyone is different, some people are more fertile than others and it depends on a range of things. Also if you are desperate about wanting a baby you sometimes don't always conceive, if that's the case have a break for a while and chill and don't put so much pressure on yourself. Good Luck !

I was 28 when I became pregnant. I stopped taking the pill, and allthough we were more not trying not to get pregnant, than actually trying to get pregnant, had 3 periods and missed my 4th. Now we have a lovely 4 month old girl.

So about 3 months!

My first pregnancy was a suprise, after being with the father for 2 months. For the second, we had been apart for awhile, decided to try again, and got pregnant the first day we were back together. He is 29 and I am 27.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant now and I'm 25 (just). Managed to get pregnant a lot quicker than expected, it only took about 6 attempts. Time wise about 4 weeks.

DONT TRY!!! it only ever seems to happen when you take the pressure off and just go with the flow... my first took three months, my second three months and the one im with now took four months... but these were all after actually trying and just letting nature take its course! otherwise you just end up having sex for the sake of getting pregnant which can become quite boring! (and try the kitchen! worked twice for me for some reason!)
