I need advice, I refuse to have an abortion but my husband of 5 years doesn't want this baby. I have a 3 yr old and a 2 year old and I'm pregnant again. I wasn't planning on getting pregnant again it just happened. This is causing tons of stress in our marriage because of the conflict of my views against his. He didn't want anymore kids at all but he's the one who did the ultimate "oops" but he won't accept responsibility, Can anyone give me some advice on what I should do, I would never kill this baby, I'd leave my husband before I did that. Thanks!!

Some people take the responsibility of caring for another life way too lightly. Wouldn't it be great if there was some sort of reversable birth control that could be administered at birth then after the person turns 18 or 21 after passing a phsycological evaluation they would be ALLOWED to have children?

Has anyone used Luv's leak-free guarantee? Did they actually send you a complete refund? Any idea what they'd do on a double pack? Thanks.

i've been married for one year and plus, and me and my wife were using withdrawal method for nearly ten months, we did not encounter any problems, but since it is not adviced to use withdrawal method we decided to buy latex condoms and use them since pill and most other methods causes weight problems and we do want children in the future. People says Withdrawal method is not good, and not effective but i think Withdrawl method is pretty effective, I read a article and it says most of the sperm in pre *** is dead, and little amount of sperm is not enough to get pregnant. Thats why, when a person is having one testicular removed for some health reason, that person can't make a girl pregnant. So if that much accuracy is required to get pregnant, Don't you think that Withdrawal method is pretty effective than we think when practiced properly? What does everyone think? how to increase the effectiveness of withdrawal method? will keeping an eye on ovulation and using withdrawal is effective?

I don't think I am pregnant, the pregnancy test i took in the middle of january was negative. But the other day my mom said I look like I am pregnant. I have been feeling kinda odd, but I still dont think that I am. My question is, if i were pregnant, do you think it is possible for my mom to notice so soon?

I see lots of questions where people assume the only options are to abort or to be stuck with the child for 18 years.

Why don't people consider putting the baby up for adoption after birth?

How do you explain this lack of awareness, and what do you think can be done about it?

I'm 34 yrs old, and would love to have a baby. My husband and I have been married for two years and he has just recently gone back to school for his PhD. We're living on my salary, which isn't much, and we live in a very expensive area. We're scared to try for a baby, because we're unsure as to whether we can provide financially. I'd love to hear from other women who have gone through a similiar situation and how they have been able to handle it. Thanks :-).

Did anyone ever break up with their girl for a break to sort of their feelings and then come back? I'm pregnant and I think my ex is really scared of the responsibilty..He told me that we just can't work out. He has to clear his head..yet he calls all the time..I know we had our problems in our relationship..Has anyone went through this? Any men ever did this? We had a relationship of 7 years..Since we were 17..I don't know if the baby scared him or what. His dad put him up to moving in with him in another state to take a job. I am concentrated on my baby but I can't help but be emotional over this. 7 years is hard to just forget.

I am very interested in homeschooling. This is NOT a debate on whether or not to homeschool. I just want to know some informed opinions about this new "unschooling" business. Thanks!

This is a serious question, I was wondering why people would rather have their own biological child, with all the risks of what could go wrong with the child genetically, such as birth defects and whatnot, not to mention being born premature or other such sad things that happen all the time.

With adoption you would be able to avoid not only the uncertaincy of wondering what could go wrong, or the moral delimas of adding more people to an already overpopulated world. It would also be dramatically improving the life of a child that otherwise wouldn't have been able to know the love of a family.

Maybe it is because I myself am unable to have children, but I just can't figure out why people want their own biological children instead of other options, so why do they do it?

... would more women breastfeed?

Many women give up. If they were told that a lactation nurse at the hospital can help them with any problems for free, would it help?

If they knew the vast benefits for mom and baby, would it help?

some benefits:
reduces chances of SIDS, asthma, diabetes, obesity, etc.
healthier weight gain for child
they get immunites from mom
breastfed children are more confident
have higher scores by 5-10 pts on IQ tests
mom loses weight faster
mom has less chances of breast and ovarian cancer

There are just a small list of the benefits of breastfeeding. I know there are moms who's bodies or hectic schedules dont allow them to nurse, but if everyone was more educated on the subject, do you think it would help moms nurse longer, give up less, or decided to nurse instead of formula feed? Ive even heard some women say they think that formula is just as good as breat milk! Even the can of formula says its not, and should only be used if it HAS to
