i've been married for one year and plus, and me and my wife were using withdrawal method for nearly ten months, we did not encounter any problems, but since it is not adviced to use withdrawal method we decided to buy latex condoms and use them since pill and most other methods causes weight problems and we do want children in the future. People says Withdrawal method is not good, and not effective but i think Withdrawl method is pretty effective, I read a article and it says most of the sperm in pre *** is dead, and little amount of sperm is not enough to get pregnant. Thats why, when a person is having one testicular removed for some health reason, that person can't make a girl pregnant. So if that much accuracy is required to get pregnant, Don't you think that Withdrawal method is pretty effective than we think when practiced properly? What does everyone think? how to increase the effectiveness of withdrawal method? will keeping an eye on ovulation and using withdrawal is effective?

unless your wife has perfectly regular cycles she won't always know when she's ovulating. The withdrawl method is not at all effective.

As for having a testicle removed you can still have children, my husband only has one due to an injury where he had to have one removed.

There is no "proper" way to do the withdrawl method. Use the condoms, they are a better method then with drawl. Also there are none hormonal birth controls, she should ask her doctor about an IUD.

Ok, it is the method we have always used, my husband and I, and I never got pregnant! however, I am now finding that I have fertility problems, so that is probably why it worked for us! I couldn't get pregnant no matter what.
I have 6 friends that have bouncing bundles of joy do to the method you are questioning! Pulling out isn't the best method! However, there are only certain times that you can actually get pregnant, so if you get an ovulation kit and test it, you will find out when it's safe and when it's not!
Good luck!

My best friend and her boyfriend have been using the withdrawal method for 7 years and she has never got pregnant either! i also know another friend who did this for a year and she never conceived either. And yes she is fertile because she is now pregnant after only a moth of trying. use an ovulation calender to see when she is most fertile and avoid this method for those 3-4 days if you are worried.

It's flirting with disaster in my opinion. My friends were doing the same thing and she got pregnant about 4 months after they started having sex. So, it's not just about the man, sometimes the woman is just genetically predisposed to become preganat easily. Of course, you won't know until it happens but I suggest other forms of birth control if you really don't want a child right now. There are so many other options, other than the pill, now like the NuvaRing, Patch, Once a month, Depo shots etc. Good luck!

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus it keeps tracks of your periods. It will even email you ahead of time to alert you of your upcoming fertile/ovulation and period dates. It is a free and very helpful website.
My husband and i have used the withdrawl method for almost 6 years without fail. I believe the % of withdrawl is 85% effective. However the first time that we had sex in 2005 while i was on my period and did not use the pullout method i became pregnant but miscarried.

I think if you pull it out in time and know what you are doing i do think that the pullout method is a good way from getting pregnant even though i know some will disagree with me.

Not all birth control causes weight gain she could get the iud put in wich is good for ten years and if before then you decide to want to have children you just have it removed i have it and it works great as far as the other types of birth controll ie pills depo or the ring i dont think they are very good but it also has alot to do with her body type as to wether she will gain weight i mean if she is a little pettie person then it wouldnt do much but if she is alittle bigger then yeah

If you are keeping a watch on the girl's ovulation dates and withdrawing then it can be efefctive a bit I suppose but there is still always a chance. It will not eliminate the possibility of pregnancy completely.

Also, just because a bloke only has one testicle, if there's nothing wrong with it, he can still get a woman pregnant.

The withdrawal method is effective as long as it is done on time, however precum will always be an issue because however improbable it is to impregnate a woman this way it does happen.

Well...

First of all this method is also known as the 'pull and pray' method so I doubt that you'll continue being so lucky.
