Did anyone ever break up with their girl for a break to sort of their feelings and then come back? I'm pregnant and I think my ex is really scared of the responsibilty..He told me that we just can't work out. He has to clear his head..yet he calls all the time..I know we had our problems in our relationship..Has anyone went through this? Any men ever did this? We had a relationship of 7 years..Since we were 17..I don't know if the baby scared him or what. His dad put him up to moving in with him in another state to take a job. I am concentrated on my baby but I can't help but be emotional over this. 7 years is hard to just forget.

its not uncommon for men to get cold feet. its a big responsibility and some don't think they can handle it, or dont want to. just wait till he meets his child...i bet he will come around.

That sucks.... but you're doing the right thing by focusing on your baby. I would wait and see what happens after the baby comes. Maybe he won't be a very good Father, and you'll be thankful for the way things are now. Or, maybe he'll see you as a Mother, and realize what he has given up.

No matter how things turn out... you will have a beautiful baby that symbolizes the 7 years you were together.

i understand your feeling and situation you are facing right now, i would like to tell you to give him some space now, but due keep him inform of everything, the way you feel and if possible try to call him for the sonography etc.. discuss it first with your doctor, to make him understand how much you need him..
