Advise very frank:

85% of most miscarriages are in the form of a tiny blood clot and are discarded with the pad or tampon. (most without knowledge they were even pregnant.

If done by the hospital as a D&C or premature birth before 20 weeks the hospital takes care of it. Unless you state otherwise.

Third trimester misscarriage is normally sent to the cornor/funeral home. Then you decide on what is to be done. Burial or cremation.

It passes during the miscarriage. Do you mean during late pregnancy? If so the family either has a service or the hospital takes care of it.

In early pregnancy...usually less than 7 weeks the tissue is usually passed. From about 8-12 weeks a D&C is usually required to remove the tissue. My water broke at 21 weeks and I had to give birth. We decided to have a funeral for her and buried her next to my Grandma.
