Remington Hunter? Let me guess.....Does Daddy hunt? LOL
I guess you'd have to consider what the short form of Remington would be. Remmy? This is what other kids will call him growing up.....if that's cool with you then go for it. As far as the two middle names? It's not excessive....I am a foster parent and we get children with three middle names at times...that gets to be excessive.
Congratulations on your upcoming arrival!

My honest answer is that when I first read the name, I was like, "whoa, NRA activist to be!!" It brings to mind too much about hunting, and guns, I just see this little boy wearing nothing but camo, etc... Remington is a big name for a kid. If you really have to go with those two, could you go with Hunter Remington? I like Remington, it's just a little big. I think two middle names are just fine, as long as you don't make them huge, heavy names, or if you keep them special, like a friend of mine gave her son 2 middle names, one that was his daddy's name, and one that was her maiden name, it flowed nice, and they were able to include special names. Congrats & good luck!

Two middle names are fine.

Remington and Hunter are too closely associated with the sport of hunting. I wouldn't put the two together. I am not fond of the name Hunter but I love Remington.

Remington would not be my first choice, but I like hunter. About the two middle names thing, all four of my babies have two. And the one on the way will have two as well. I think it's just about personal preference and what you and daddy agree on.

Well, with a long first name like Remington I think that 2 middle names would be extreme. What do you plan on calling him for a nickname? I have only known one person to name her child Remington - and her child is a girl (nickname is "Remy"). I absolutely love the name Hunter, tho. Good luck and congrats.

I like Hunter, Although there is nothing wrong with a name like Remington he might get teased at school, especially the elementary years. As far as having 2 middle names, nothing wrong with that as long as the 2 middle names sound good with the first name and with each other. For example, my god son's name is (bay-lee-an)Balian Cyrus Solomon Dennie. I honestly don't think that the 2 middle names compliment each other or the first name at all, but I love the fact that it's original.Just please, if you do two middle names, take my advice above and make sure the whole name compliments each other. I hope this helped you and your husband out. Congrats on your little one, you will enjoy every minute.

We didn't agree until we had sent the BC lady away already once...don't worry about it. I like Remington Hunter, but I don't like it when people name their children something they will never call them...like from birth on the kid is called Remi and the other is just his legal name.
2 middle names isn't too excessive just makes for long signings at proceedings, remember though you really want the name to fit on 1 line of the drivers license, mine doesn't and its kinda werid looking, also my name gets cut off on roll sheets for school so teachers were always guessing how to finish my name.

I don't really like Remington. Hunter is cute though.

I don't think there's anything wrong with 2 middle names, as long as they are short names. Bad: Remington Alexander Cornelius (then last name). Better Remington Hunter James (then last name)

I like Hunter. Not crazy about Remington, but I'm sure my hubby would be--he and his entire family are gun collectors! :P

Our son has two middle names, BUT there was a reason--we had a difficult time with him, and thought he'd be our only, so we gave him the names of both of our paternal grandfathers as his middle names. We are now pregnant with twins, and considering three names for them as well, for similar reasons--we can give them a bit of their family (and honor a family member) without the child being 'stuck' with that name (especially since the names of our grandparents are unusual!). In addition, if they despise it when they grow up, they just don't have to use it at all, but if they want to use a traditional, family name, they can.

I like the name Hunter...but not Remington. 2 middle names is fine. Some people hyphenate. Just be careful not to make the name so long that the child is in highschool before he can spell it
