Originally, I wanted to buy a travel system, since they seem like a good bargain. However, I noticed almost all of them have rear-facing only car seats, which means we'd have to buy one that could be forward facing when baby gets bigger. Did anyone else notice this? Is it just a better idea to buy one that is both forward- and rear-facing and a separate storller, or is that too much of a hassle?

I recently had a baby and had a very hard time in my area finding maternity clothes much less now being a nursing mother trying to find nursing bras and shirts. I have problems going into stores with my stroller because alot of stores do not have handicap buttons. Once in the store the aisles are to small to get the stroller thru without hitting/knocking things over.Some stores the carseat doesn't fit on the shopping cart. I'm having trouble now finding a babycarrier. I know what I want a front and hip carrier but can only find a front or hip carrier.I would like to open a store that mothers-to-be and new mothers can come and find what they are looking for in one place. With nice size aisles to get thru. Maybe even a sitting area for kids to play, mothers to have disscusion groups . And if I don't have what you are looking for I will order it for you. There is so much I would like to do with the store but not enough room left to write. Any help on the idea of my store will be great.

I am asking this since I was asked and didn't know what to say. My sis in law is in the military and is sexually active. She was wondering what people thought of the depo shot. I have nothing good to say of it. Any of you ladies? Also... what other options are there for her if she wont take the pill (says she forgets and is in NO position to be getting pregnant) and doesnt want an IUD. I told her condoms. Any others I dont know about? Thanks in advance!

I am 33, married. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We have discussed having children for years and cannot come up with a decision. When my hormones are raging I really want a baby, and often cry over it. Other times I think of our freedom and the lack of it when a baby is part of the family. My heart and my hubby's heart wants one but our minds keep getting in the way.
To add to it, I have been told I would need a mild form of hormones to become pregnant. On this type of hormone the most babies any woman has ever had has been twins. So, this being added and the fact that I'm 33 I'm getting anxious about making a decision because what if it takes a few years to become pregnant. Also, I have OCD and Panic Disorder and take meds for it- I'd have to stop while pregnant and breast feeding. Everything put together is overwhelming but the desire to have a baby growing inside me, breast feeding, changing diapers, etc. is something that isn't going away. Any suggestions?

When does life start. I want a definiant answer. At birth? When the baby has a heartbeat? At second trimester? If you answer "I don't know" then why take the life of someone you don't are unable to know if it's human?

I have a couple of questions for those of you who can help, about what's consisdered normal etc....first of all how often can I give him a bath. I do it every other night now, but it seems to calm him and I would like to every night, I just don't want to dry out his skin. Also his diapers seem to leak now? I have moved up from the pampers swaddlers, which I loved, to the pampers bigger size, but the seem to droop in the bottom after a while, and he pees out the sides and gets his outfits wet on the side? And how often should he be sleeping during the day/night, daytime it's about 3-4 naps about 45min-1hr long? and he ALWAYS wakes up crying? And at night he sleeps from about 10pm until 2-3am in the 1st stretch then he's up AGAIN around 5am then about 7 or 7:30am. Should he be sleeping longer? And he always eats at his wakenings (he's breastfed too by the way!). Some help would be MUCH appreciated with theses topics! Thanks!

Is it possable to get pregnabt after having your tubes tied? On Dec 12 my wife had a baby. We decided that this baby would be our last child so my wife had her tubes tied. Well my wife just found out that she is pregnant again!!! Is this possable can they have came untied, or can the doctor tell if they were even tied at all? (the DR. swears that he did tie her tubes).

my wife has custody of her child. the dad of the child just resently has another baby girl with his wife and now he wants to put my step daughter on his income tax return for this coming year.my wife has full custody of the child. i just found out also that he's mom went to go get a social securty card of the child without letting us now.are they legal to do that? even though my wife has the original S.S.

I of course disagree, after much research, with the DR that responded. My daughter's DR also used to feel as this DR does until she had a son with Autism. Then she did the research! Autism 1:150 is not acceptable. It is Impossible to have a genetic epidemic. Ever hear of an outbreak of Downs Syndrome? Why not? Can't happen...

My daughter was severely mercury poisoned by her vaccines. Please get educated, no more than 1 shot at a time, and check bottle for thymerosal=50% mercury. It's out of "most" vaccines but not all!

My daughter is 18 months old. I had so much trouble trying to name her at birth. I had the name Georgia, Amelia and Brielle picked out and was going to choose one of them when i saw her for the first time. When I saw her I just new she wasn't any of those names. Well it took me 2 weeks after she was born b4 I named her, and I went thru every name in the entire world and nothing suited her. So I asked God and straight away I got the name Emerson Rose in my head. I couldn't believe it "Emerson", it sounds like a boy’s name, not a pretty little girl’s name, but that’s what god named her and Emerson Rose she is. She get's Em, Emmy all the time. Anyway we found out what her name means, it means Strength, powerful and industrial. I suppose God wants her to be all those things. Anyway, i want to change the spelling from Emerson, too Emersen Rose what do you think?

i do a pregnancy test in each month and it kills me when i c that i am not pregnant knowing that so many girls who married at the same time i did are already pregnant. im still young. me and my husband study together in the same university abroad. we will celebrate our first anniversary on June. i don’t know why im in a hurry i really dont know but i feel like becoming a mom to make him happy and to fill our life with a new one. my problem is i always think what if there is something wrong with me ? am i normal? what i cant have children? i cant accept it and i cant stop thinkin of gettin pregnant. in my culture when a woman gets married people always ALWAYS asks her " are u pregnant?" and people keep asking me this question and I HATE IT .. i dunno what to do im so stressed . i am 9 weeks pregnant and the dad does not want to be involved, and even if he changes his mind he lives a party lifestyle and drinks a lot and does a lot of drugs (he is my ex and since we broke up this is what he has come to, we ended up possibly getting back together recently and working things out but then i realized he would not leave that life behind so i decided it was best for me to not be with him). 2 weeks later i found out i was pregnant, i am keeping the baby aware that i will be it's only parent but i am soooo scared that the child not having a father figure around will affect its life, not to mention the fact that i will not have anyone to help me financially and physically. What is your opinion on bringing up a child without a father in its life? And will it be hard to find a good man after i have the baby that would be willing to take on the role of daddy? i am sooooo stressed out and i know that it is not good for the baby.
