if it was a relative than sure but sometimes you have to watch them too. How old is the child, and where are you going thats so important that your child can't stay with you. I personally do not leave my child with anyone, if he cant stay then I don't go.

I don't like the sound of this. Are you actually contemplating having someone that you don't know very well take your child home and put them to bed? That is a very dangerous thing to do, not to mention unsettling for the child. It would be best for you to hire a trusted person to babysit your child for the evening if there is a chance you will not be making it home.
I still can't believe you would ask this question.

If you want a relative to take the baby home or if you want the babysitter to pick the child up at the house where you will be and take him home to put him to bed is fine. Asking an acquaintance at the place you have to go to take the baby home, absolutely not!!!

If you have to stay late, maybe you could hire a sitter and let the child stay home so that they could be in bed at a decent time. And you won't have to worry about someone taking home the child.

I'm not sure what you mean by this question?
Are you asking if someone has ever had their baby taken home by someone else like a baby sitter and put to bed?

Why take your child in the first place then sweet, why not just leave them at home with a sitter?

I'd leave him home with a babysitter or at grandmas in the first place. If you don't have a very trusted person to leave your child with, then just don't go.

Nope wouldn't do it
unless it was the childs relative grandparent aunt or something like that. Most certainly not a stranger. I would have to hurt somebody really bad if they did anything to my kids.

It depends on the childes age.
If the child is yound then I would only send them home with someone you can trust COMPLETELY!!!
If they are older like 8 and up then as long as you kno the person and where they live then it's ok.
But don't just let your kid go home with someone you don't kno.
Vote for me for best answer please =)

you bet i have! it was actually my own wedding. I sent my 1 year old home with my husbands aunt, whom she had only seen afew times, and my brothers had their kids picked up at the wedding. as long as you trust the person and feel comftorable with the situation, it should be fine!
if nobody wants to take them, put them under a table to go to sleep..heehee..that's what my 4 year old did at my wedding, slipped under the table and fell asleep.
