i would wait til after my first trimester because you are less like to suffer miscarriage by then, if that happens ( i pray not) then he /she would never need to know. but it is mainly entirely up to you when to tell him.

Well if you need to make accomidations at work due to chemical exposure or other risk factors then you should tell your boss right away. Otherwise there is no reason to tell your boss until you are starting to show, it is none of their business and really no matter how great the boss or company (or family member, friend, etc) you WILL be treated differently once they know you are pregnant.
Of course some women only wait until the end of their first trimester. However for me I *HATE* the way people treat you when you are pregnant and I wouldn't even tell my family until after the baby was born if it wasn't so obvious at a certain point *lol*

Well once you have confirmed it. You need to tell right away. You are about to start having lots of appointments during the day time and you will probably have to miss a lot of work. And if your one of those who gets morning sickness then you will be not up to par either. So the earlier you can tell them the sooner you can start planning everything. I also knew before my tests confirmed that I was in fact pregnant. I had 3 home tests and 2 dr. test plus 1 blood test that all said negative. It just means that you still have a low hormone count. But if you wait like 2 weeks then you should be okay to retest and get your answer..

You shouldn't tell anybody accept for the closest family members until atleast 6 weeks into the pregnancy.
It's a sad and scary thought, but there is always a chance that you could mis-carry, or that you arent pregnant at all.
It would be difficult for you to tell a lot of people and then, god forbid, lose the child for some reason - Then be forced to tell them (after all of the congratulations) that you are not longer pregnant
Save youself the difficulty and wait until you are positive that you are, in fact, pregnant AND you've gone to the doctor's office alteast one time and they have assured you that your child is healthy.

I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and speaking from personal experience, you should tell your boss as soon as possible because they cannot let you go for being pregnant, but it can help you when planning doctor visits and explaining why you may feel sick at times. In my opinion telling your boss can only help you by keeping the communication lines open.

It probably not a big rush, but, it show more professionalism to tell your Boss than wait until everyone ask. But, nine months is a long way off. You just want to be professional so everyone will be prepared if you need maternity leave. and days off for regular Doctor visits. Also, this allow Personnel to prepare any insurance forms if your company have insurance.

Yes after confirming but that is your personal bussiness, you dont have to tell him as soon as you know about it, you can wait a little and then tell him/her. They can not stop you doing your things, so tell him/her once you are sure and you feel ready to let him/her now.
Congratulations!!!
