Yes one can conceive a child even if they are underweight.

Yes, one can conceive and bear children. The largest concern is that there will not be any stored fat for mother to use while pregnant. IF you are wanting to become pregnant, I would suggest gaining 10 or 15 extra pounds before pregnancy, so your body has some reserve, for times when you may not eat properly. Make sure you eat a balanced diet, adding at least 200 extra calories every day.

If you are concerned, you should talk to your doctor about his suggestions. If you have miscarried once or heaven forbid more, there may be other concerns.

Probably. If you are too thin then you can stop having periods. You need a certain amount of body weight to support a pregnancy. That's why women have more body fat than men. But just because you are thin that doesn't mean you won't be able to have a healthy baby. I think the concern would be more for your health. The baby will take all the nutrients first and then if there is any leftover the mother will get them. Talk to your doctor. He will probably suggest you try to gain some weight. But don't worry about it too much. I've known lots of thin women who have kids.

I know a 100 pound woman with four children, so yes they can. There could be some complications, but that depends on more than simply your size. Ask your gynocologist if you have anything to worry about.

Sure, my cousin is very tiny and she had 2 kids. She had healthy pregnancies but had to have a c-section because they said her pelvis was too narrow, but it can be done. Good luck and God bless
