Please help me, my 3 and a half month old son refuses his formula ALL THE TIME.
I have to force feed him constantly, he is drinking about 520 mls (18 oz) every 24 hour period only by persistence and force feeding, he has about 4- 5 wet nappies a day and sleeps a lot.
He NEVER cries in hunger and has gone 17 hours with only 100 mls ((3oz).
I've tried my health sister, doctor, pediatrician, paramedics and hospital, all they say is feed him constantly and im going insane because he screams and clenches his mouth.
I've tried different teats and different heat temperatures.
I know he is not getting enough because he should be drinking at least 100 mls (30z) to every kilo he weighs, so approx at least 600 a day just to stay hydrated. he should be on 800-1000 mls.
I dont know what else to do and im starting to get really depressed as im worried and cant find any answers.
Im begging anyone out there with tips or advice to please answer me . thanks heaps

I dont know what the deal is with her. When she wakes up from a nap, which she always only sleeps for 1 hr, and in the morning when she gets up. She is ALWAYS screaming!!! I dont know what to do. When she does this she always ends up waking up her twin sister, who loves to sleep. I dont know if she's having bad dreams or something/someone is waking her up. I say someone because, I know this sounds stupid, but I think that our house is haunted. When we go into get her, she cannot wait to get out of her crib. The previous owner's dad died in the drive way. He was diabetic, but the cause of his death is unknown to us.

My son is a very chubby little monster in other words too heavy to carry in a small seat. What is the weight limits on rear facing seats in Wisconsin? Or better yet what are the limits on a front safety seat.

Shes a lil over 2 months old now, and she still will only barely drink 2 oz of formula every few hours... I also nurse her but I only produce about 1/2 an oz every couple hours so.. She seems to be getting longer, but she looks kind of on the thin side... I have an appt for her on Tuesday but I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem also, and if so, what happened? She was born full term, 18 inches and 7lbs 6 oz at birth...she actually looked chubby then... She has wet diapers 5 times a day and poops usually at least once a day. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated :o)

My son is 8 months old. He takes 1-2 naps during the day and then when I am ready to go to bed, I have the hardest time getting him to lay down. I am trying the food at night, warm bottles (they work sometime) and baths. What else might work? S.O.S. NEW MOM!

Its not cramping like you get on your period, its more like when youre uterus itself hurts from early pregnancy... did anyone else ever feel like that?

Iam not pregnant.. that I know of. Ive only had two periods since I had my son 8 months ago (last one was about 2-3 weeks ago). He has been nursing considerably less since he's more interested in solids...

Maybe that has something to do with it.. maybe its hormones? Uterus shrinking more... Its just this uncomfortable ache, it kinda throbs with a sharper pain every now and again, very low against my hip bone and pelvis on the left side.

Any one else ever go through this around this time with having had a baby and nursing less?

Recently my son(3 months old) has been spitting up more than normal. He usually only spit up alittle once ot twice during each feeding. Now it's like 4 times but alort bigger amount. He cries hard while being burped inbetween and after. I think he's vomiting instead of spitting up, but im not sure. The spitup/ vomit always has mucous in it and sometimes curdy. Every feeding he gets really fidgity and fussy. After 2 ounces he starts choking while he's eatting. Before he took 6 ounces , now its hard for him to even take 4 ounces. In the beginning he was very colicky, but it let up alot. Any one have any idea what it could be? Should I try to switch to soy? Can you just switch right away? or do you have to ease into it? He has no diahrrea or nothing like like.

I had an epidural with my first child, it somehow only worked on the right side of my body and they knocked me out with something else. I then fell and hurt my back really bad one winter. When I was having my second child htey had trouble getting the epidural in my back, then half way through my labor it wore off. They came and fixed it but it wore off again and I had no pain meds when she was actually being born. I'm thinking it's not worth the trouble. If we have a 3rd baby I am going to have it natural with no drugs. Is that a good idea? I have long labors. first was 10 1/2 hours second was 12 1/2 hours.

Is it possible for little girls like 2 and 3 yrs to get yeast infections? I don't have little girls obviously. I'm asking cause I babysit 2 and one of them is in diapers. When I change her diaper I notice alot of white stuff down there, like a yeast infection. Her Mom never said anything about it or how or even if to take care of it. What do I do for her?

This is going to be a "introduction" shower after the baby is born since they are different sexes but close in age and we were hoping instead of bringing baby stuff she already has maybe everyone could bring a package of diapers in any size. Does anyone have any ideas how to politley word this in the invitation. Other ideas also welcomed.

She's a sweet adorable baby, who loves everyone. She likes to hug and kiss, and cuddle, and she's such a good baby but..

She's almost 10 months, and still wakes up every hour or two at night to nurse. She hardly sleeps all day, and when she does, I have to be next to her because she won't sleep in her crib EVER, and I don't want her to fall of the bed.
In order for her to have her solids, i have to sing dance, and tell her stories, or she won't eat.
She won't stay in her playpen for more than 3 minutes, she won't sit in her high chair, or in her crib. I have to cook, clean and eat while holding her in my arms. I guess she's teething now, because it's gotten a little worse, and I feel like pulling my hair out.
I get no sleep, no time to eat, or take care of myself at all. I have no time for anything at all, not even my poor husband, and basically everything I do, has to be done with a baby hanging from my breast.

This is my first baby. Are all babies like that?

a few nights ago a mosquito got in our house and bit my husband and i so the next morning when i got my daughter up and saw a little bite on her cheek i just thought she had been bitten as well. well it's 3 days later and her bite isnt going away and baby skin always heals up so much quicker than that, especially something as insignificant as a mosquito bite. well that bite is still there and now it has a red ring around it and it's almost the size of a penny. she has a doc. appointment for it today but i was just curious of what this could be. she's only 4 months old so it's not like she plays outside or anything like that. we dont have a dog and i just changed all of her bedding so i dont know what could have bitten her! any ideas?
