My son will turn to be 1 on 24th. I ve started sending him to a daycare from last 20 days as i've to join my job on 10th. Initially for 2 days he cried and then he was fine but then he dint go for a week bcoz of cold n fever now he again cried for 2 days when he goes but today it was a lil better. I'm just confused am I doing right???? Will sending my son to a day care will ruin his growth??? I'll be going at 6 in the morning, then my husband will prepare him for going to daycare, hell go at 8:45 and tthen will come at 3:30 in the afternoon. Will he be fine there? or even if I leave my job will he be happy living with me all the day alone as we are a nuclear family? when he is home also, he wants to go outside??? Dont know am I doing right for my child??

I have a 1 month old who was almost 4 weeks premature. He is healthy, strong, gaining weight etc.

We have family in the hospital delivering a baby, which we will be visiting. Is it a bad idea to bring the baby? It will be hard to visit without bringing the baby. Our baby will just be visiting the mother and child floor.

My son is barely 3 weeks and not a diaper changing has passed that he hasnt pooped.. He is breastfeeding and I was told that he would have more poopy diapers than my daughter did, but is it suppose to be this many? I was going to ask the doctor at his 2 week visit but it totally slipped my mind "my daughter was getting her 18 month shots". He goes back again for his 4 week checkup this Wenseday, and I will ask believe me, but for now it doesnt seem to be bothering him. Just me.. Has anyone else gone through this with there child and if so what was up with it. Will it pass or was there something wrong with the bowel?

It just has one small hole and they don't make this model anymore and I don't believe any other brands make a similar playyard. It is the totblock that is 38"x38" instead of the very small pack 'n' play style.

Also it just seems like such a waste to toss it out!

Thanks

My baby's due in February and in the area where I live the days in February can be anywhere from 10 degrees to 60. What's a good temperature to keep the house to keep the baby comfy?

We are staying with my parents for a couple of months (building a new house) and there is only one spare bedroom... we have tried letting the baby sleep in his crib in the same room with us, but he is not doing well... he wakes up and wants us to pick him up because he can see us.
There is a VERY large walkin closet in the bedroom with a door, and we're thinking about moving everything out (shelves and fixtures) and putting the crib in there. Its at least 5 feet wide or more. And we won't close the door all the way, just so he can't see us. Is this ok or not? We can even put a little night light in there for him...

My three month old eats 6-8 ounces every three hours, it seems to be alot to me, and was wondering if it was normal. She already eats rice cereal which doesnt seem to fill her up and now we were told to start her on oatmeal. She still wakes up every three hours at night for food and I have noticed that she is gaining alot more weight from eating so much so often. (she is bottle fed). Does anyone have any suggestions to keep her full longer?

We have taken him to the doctor, it was not a yeast infection, we change his diapers promptly, use the good old Pampers brand diapers and their sensitive wipes, and we have tried corn startch, zinc oxide cream, petrolium jelly, baby powder, the only thing that remotly helped was Neosporin, any suggestions?

My baby is 7 months old, and she has been sick since last saturday. I think it's just a cold but she coughs so hard she looses her breath. I've been giving her the cough medcine my dr. prescribed to her last time. But the cough is still not better, in fact it sounds worse than it did when she first got sick,so this has been going for about week. Her nose has also been runny, first clear then it turned greenish yellow looking, she has not been running fever.I just feel dumb for taking her to the doctor because they have already told me babies get sick alot this young, what do yall think?
