The usual way! All the "in vitro" method does is to unite the egg and sperm cells to produce a viable foetus - this is then implanted into the mother or into a surrogate mother who carries the baby to term. There is still a substantial "failure rate" (= stillborn baby) and there is a growing body of evidence that people conceived in this way have a slightly higher risk to disease and early death although the first babies are just arriving at their 30's so more research is needed.

Fertilization of the egg is done outside the mothers body and placed in the womb. The rest is pretty much like nature intended.
