My two month old has already discovered how to freak me out by "practicing" his crying in front of his mirror. As soon as I come over he'll turn his head and grin at me, turn back to the mirror and continue with his sad noises. All babies, and toddlers love to play with sound and see what sounds they can make. The gagging/coughing sound is fun right now, wait until she decides that high pitched screaming is fun!

Yeah its normal, babies experiment with their bodies and all its many functions. My 8 month old has been doing that for a few months. They just do it because they can.

Yes, this is normal. Just calm down she is just a baby and she doesn't even know what she is doing herself. It's alright.
