Yes, tiny babys, girl and boys, grown teens and adults all get yeast infections.
Let her mom know she has one. In most cases the over the counter creams for yeast infections, put on like diaper ointment will clear it up in a week or so.
My son had two, when theyre real young like this its usually caused by too much sugar in their diet.

I think it is possible. I dont think yeast infections have to do with sexual maturity or aging. We all have the same parts and she wears a diaper so that could cause it. She really needs to see a doctor. Adult medications and creams may be too strong for her. It is very important to keep her dry down there. I have heard of some home remedies such as baths to help restore her ph level down there.. but i would want to make sure she even has the infection first before attempting to treat it.

Sure its not a cream for diaper rash? Or powder? I would just ask the mom. Sounds like what it is. To be honest I have had a yeast infection before , due to antibiotics, and nothing white came out of me, it just itched.

yes, my daughter had one from an antibiotic. i thought we had diaper rash and the creams and potions only made it worse. a call to the pediatrician and i was told it was yeast. i used monistat on her when i changed her diaper and it was gone. tell the mother she needs to get her daughter to a dr for proper treatment

Yes, Absolutley they can get them that young. you need to address this with the mother, just tell her you have noticed this and don't want to step on any toes but are very concerned.
