Its not cramping like you get on your period, its more like when youre uterus itself hurts from early pregnancy... did anyone else ever feel like that?

Iam not pregnant.. that I know of. Ive only had two periods since I had my son 8 months ago (last one was about 2-3 weeks ago). He has been nursing considerably less since he's more interested in solids...

Maybe that has something to do with it.. maybe its hormones? Uterus shrinking more... Its just this uncomfortable ache, it kinda throbs with a sharper pain every now and again, very low against my hip bone and pelvis on the left side.

Any one else ever go through this around this time with having had a baby and nursing less?

We use condoms, although our timing isnt like its supposed to be. It'd unlikely that iam pregnant, I'll test in a week or so, just to get that out of you minds.

It must be hormones or something...

When I was nursing and myson started taking solids more I felt a little cramping pain. I went to my doctor and he said it was because my uterus was shrinking. Apparently his nrsing less was significant enough for my body to get to work. However, my diet did change and I was getting a bit gasier. If it continues to bother you please go see your doc. As far as pregancy goes.......just test yourself.

Hate to say it but i had exactly the same when my baby girl was 4 months old and I was pregnant again! lol.
You feel the symptoms much quicker second time around, plus things dont really go back to normal for a long while after having a baby so they are quicker to revert to a pregnant state if yu have recently been pregnant.
Definately take a test and if all else fails go to the docs.. could be wind but it could be an infection or something! Rule out another baby first though eh! Good luck!

Could you be ovulating? The discharge is what signals that to me....
Also, have you been tested for a yeast infection?? The discharge and sharp pains down there signal that to me, too....
One more thing: could it be that your muscles are expanding and/or contracting "getting back into place" from your son??

All questions to ask the doc (just to be safe).....
Let us know what happens with the pg test.

Good luck, sweetie!
