I dont know what the deal is with her. When she wakes up from a nap, which she always only sleeps for 1 hr, and in the morning when she gets up. She is ALWAYS screaming!!! I dont know what to do. When she does this she always ends up waking up her twin sister, who loves to sleep. I dont know if she's having bad dreams or something/someone is waking her up. I say someone because, I know this sounds stupid, but I think that our house is haunted. When we go into get her, she cannot wait to get out of her crib. The previous owner's dad died in the drive way. He was diabetic, but the cause of his death is unknown to us.

I always put her in her crib awake, and she always sees or hears me leave the room. I never rock them to sleep (unless they are really overtired or sick)

It's normal for a 10 mo. old child to cry. You have to go through the list of things it could be, like a dirty diaper, the baby needs milk, the baby has gas, the baby is cold or hot, there are many other things, and as you get to know your baby's cries, you will know what it needs.
Some suggestions would be to change the location of her crib to where she can see into your room, or into a room where people mostly are, or move the crib into your room.
Get a nightlight, or a clock radio that makes those soothing sounds.
Try a swaddle.
Try those things. It is just a matter of a lot of patience, and a lot of trial and error.
If you can't find a solution, ask your mother, a sister who may also have children, or a pediatrician.
Good Luck.

Well not to get too much into this but I really don't believe in hauntings....My sister swore she saw "ghosts" all the time, We ended up annointing the house, you could even use crisco if you don't have the fancy stuff. Anyways your baby could be having bad dreams, or maybe she has gas..acid reflux? If you really dont want her waking her sister, you could try seperating them until you figure out what is going on or until this passes! I hope she's ok! Good Luck

Every baby wakes up screaming... At some point they realize they are awake, they dont want to be, and since they are they want mom to be there right now.
Its the natural wake up state of any baby at some point in their development. It has nothing to do with supernatural things in the house.
Beyond that, if it were a ghost, why on earth would you allow it to live there? Tell it to go.

my son always wakes crying, he just wakes up and wonders where everybody is, and wants up in there NOW, lol. Your other child might just be a little more independant. Maybe just move them to seperate rooms?
I've done some reading about night terrors and as far as I can tell they usually happen in older children. Plus babies don't know enough to be afraid of spirits, they haven't seen the movies we have :)
If someone did die in your house I doubt that they were mean, and usually spirits are calming to babies. I wouldn't worry about it.

Pray over her and annoint your house with oil
I am serious. We just did this this week. My daughters have been having night terrors since they were born. The next day my 2 YEAR OLD said to me, " mommy the monsters all gone in my room." My seven year old told them to leave in the name of Jesus and she could see them running away so fast that she couldn't even see their legs!!!
Passage Ephesians 6:12:
12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
If you want to email me I can tell you more

She could have something called night frights. My youngest sister had it. She'd waking up screaming her head off, and she wouldn't let mom and dad touch her, or comfort her or anything, she'd fight them off. And she would seriously freak out and continually scream for like, 15 minutes. Then she'd realize mom and dad aren't there to hurt her, and she'd be happy and go back to sleep.

When she falls asleep, does she fall asleep in her crib, or does she fall asleep elsewhere, and then you place her in her crib? Sometimes they can wake up disorriented when they wake up somewhere besides where they fell asleep.
