she is very content after a feeding of formula (6.5oz) but 2 hours later, she cries and cries for another bottle. We have just started cereal to see if that helps..so far, not yet. Yet she sleeps all night, since birth and never asks for food during the night

My eyes and my husband's eye color are both brown, but my three month old son's eye color is grey/blue. At what age on average does the brown come in permanately? Or might it stay the same? By the way, my mother's eyes are green , but the rest of the grandparents' eyes are dark brown. Can anyone name the source of thier info, so I know I have an accurate picture?

my 10 1/2 month old daughter can be perfectly content, eating, playing, etc., but as soon as I walk out of sight she begins to scream until I come back and pick her up. What can I do to calm her fears? I can't even take a shower without her. Please help.

My daughter eats about 4 ounces every 3 hours, so she eats around 24 ounces a day. The problem is that she has been eating this amount since she was 2 1/2months old! She hasn't increased her intake at all really. She is defintiely not losing weight, but does this mean she is probably not gaining any as well? At her 2 month check she was 12.5 pounds. She is not eating solids yet either. Should I try to make her eat more, or is this just the was she wants to eat?

My daughter is 6 months old and I dress her warm at night but she wakes up 3 times a night. I think she may get cold. I want to give her a big blanket but I'm a little nervous. Is she too young for a blanket?

I am a huge Dr. Sears and Attachment Parenting fan.
Before I consider reading her book..
can you tell me about the Baby whisperer and what her views are on sleeping, co-sleeping, sleep training, responding quickly to your babies crys?

My husband and I are saving for a house and moved into a very small loft like apartment on my parents property. It is pretty much 1 open room with a ladder upstairs to our bed. It is very small so most of our stuff is in storage. My daughter only sleeps for 40 min at a time during the day, and my husband snores all night long. I get up with my daughter once or twice a night and end up staying awake sometime for the rest of the night cause of my husbands snoring. Then Im up at 6 am and caring for our daughter all day long who wont nap long enough for me to get a nap in myself....I can feel myself getting more and more tired and having a hader time caring for my daughter...any suggestions?? Thanks

Hi,
I am a worried mom. My son, who is BTW very tall for his age, went from 49lbs to 46.5 lbs in 4 and half weeks. Here is what he had a sinus and ear infection. He had to take Omnicef 125mg for 20 days. Around day # 13, he caught a virus( fever, cough, congestion). He had a fever for 6 consecutive days. It started by 102.3 and gradually decreased every day. Now we jus t finished the antiobitic. His infections are all gone and all of the virus symptoms have cleared up. Is it normal for him to still sleep a little more then usual and to still not have his appetite 100% back?? This is his first year going to a daycare full time therefore he got more then exposed to differents germs. He looks terrible because he grew in the middle of all of this mess so that makes him look even thinner.
If anyone has been through this, I would feel reassured!!!
I love being a mom but I hate the stress part!!!
Thanks,
Leila

He is taking his morning nap around 10am and will sleep either 1-2hours. Sometimes if he sleeps for one hour he will sleep again around 2pm. If he sleeps 11/2-2hours he will fight the second nap. He usually is in bed by 8 and sleeps till 6:30 or 7:00. How do you make the transition from one nap to two? Would like the one nap to be right after lunch.
