she is not too young for night terrors!! Tell whoever told you that that they are wrong and I said so. She's still getting used to her environment too, so keep that in mind. Have you tried swaddling her? It works wonders beleive me. It will give her a womb like feeling and help her transition. I wish you luck

The first thing you should do is see a doctor, to rule out any physical problems. That will also help to alleviate the fears that you are having. Are you sure she's not hungry? My kids were still waking up to be fed at that age. Don't let anybody tell you to put her on a feeding schedule, only she knows if she is hungry. Check the temperature of the room that she sleeps in.Is she sweating, or shivering? Alot of moms overbundle their babies and they get too hot, or underdress them and the poor little things are freezing. Also feel her jammies putting your arm all the way into the legs to see if there's something itchy, or poking her. Remove the tags. Run all of her clothes through an extra rinse cycle in case your detergent is too strong or even smells too strong for her sensitive little nose. Listen carefully for any noises that may be bothering her. If you still can't find anything, you may be right. It may be night terrors, and the only thing you can do is comfort her. Good luck.

It could be colic. I would see if you can calm it by holding her face down in the crook of your arm (cradled but with your hand holding her chest and her legs straddled around your forearm) and rocking back and fourth. This was the only way we could calm our daughter down with colic. She would just lie there and scream otherwise. We also had to give her simethicone 5 min before every meal and different formula to help her digest it properly. But sometimes none of it worked and I would have to just take a deep breath and say to myself that it wont last forever...... she is now 9 and makes me cry in my sleep over how fast that time went!

Have you tried having her sleep in one of those vibrating beds with a heating pad and a good nuk? Maybe even a soft wubby on standby.
