My husband and I are saving for a house and moved into a very small loft like apartment on my parents property. It is pretty much 1 open room with a ladder upstairs to our bed. It is very small so most of our stuff is in storage. My daughter only sleeps for 40 min at a time during the day, and my husband snores all night long. I get up with my daughter once or twice a night and end up staying awake sometime for the rest of the night cause of my husbands snoring. Then Im up at 6 am and caring for our daughter all day long who wont nap long enough for me to get a nap in myself....I can feel myself getting more and more tired and having a hader time caring for my daughter...any suggestions?? Thanks

have hubby help! he can take the baby out for a walk so you can take a little nap. he is your partner in this he will understand that every now and then every one needs a little brake.

When your husband gets home from work, take an hour nap while he cares for the baby. I would also go to bed earlier than my husband and kid at night, just to get in an extra hour or two. At 5 months, hopefully your daughter will be sleeping longer thru the night. If you're not nursing, could your husband get up with her.

The other thing we would do, is I would do a supplemental pumping during the day. Then my husband would give a bottle either in the middle of the night or early morning so I could sleep in. DONT BELIEVE THEM IF THEY SAY THEY NEED THE FULL NIGHT OF SLEEP - cause they have to "go" to work - SO DO YOU!

get some ear plugs, or take some benadryl for yourself at night. You;'ll still be able to function for the baby. But, you do need to get some sleep or else you'll go CRAZY! Baby should pretty much be sleeping thru the night soon. good luck it gets better around school age, then worsens again when they're teens!

I think your husband should go see a doctor about his snoring.
have you tried reading books to your daughter maybe that will make her sleep.
does your husband work?...maybe he can help you so you can rest!
