my daughter started to walk at 12 months but some of her cousins walked earlier around 7 months... nothing to worry, babies development are not all the same.

Every baby is different. Our daughter walked at 8 months!!! On the other hand our son was late walking. He was about 14 months, before he would even take a step. I have a day-care and a degree in early child development and I can honestly say there is no reason to worry, unless the baby has any learning problems. Not that this is the rule but in my experience boys are later then girls when it comes to walking and in most cases talking. Let me share something with you, when your baby starts walking make sure the house is child proof. Our son tried to stick one of his toys into an electrical socket.

Depends on the baby, I had 4 and mine walk anywhere from 7 1/2 months to 11 months.

It depends on the baby.. every baby is definitely different. Here are examples...

My sisters walked at different ages, one of them at a year and a half years old, another one at 10 months, and another one at 9 months... I walked at 10 months, and my daughter walked at 10 months too. Some kids just get the strength on their legs and the coordination to do it early, some don't do it until later. But don't worry, it'll happen sooner or later. Enjoy every moment you have with your baby, they grow up really fast!

Usually anywhere between 9-15 months, in some cases earlier, some later. My boy is 13 months and looks like he will be walking any day now.

Each child is different so they each go about it and start at their own pace and time. Some start at 9 months and others don't start until well after their first birthday. It just depends on the child's pace of development.
-Edit-
My daughter took two steps at 7 months before stopping all together only to take off running 3 months later. My younger siblings and I were all walking at 9 months. My older brothers didn't start until after they were one. =)

My son took a year to walk, and depends basically on the effort your childs puts into trying to walk.

I'd know kids who walk earlier or after the year.

Both of my kids started walking at 7 months. My boy actually started rolling over at 7 days! What a freak! (but a lovable one!)

Usually around their first birthday. My twins walked before that and my last one didn't walk until she was 18 months old.
