ok after eating, wich i did right now, how long do i have to wait to extercise? becuz i ask cuz my cousin extercised after he ate, and had to have a surgery after wards, beacuse his organs were messes up

I am 32 weeks and my baby is still breech. I know there is plenty of time for her to still move, but my question is about an external version. Has anyone had one? Was it painful? And most importanly, did it work?

Other than measuring you basal body temperature and checking your cervical mucus (thats the whitish stuff right?) is there another way to tell if you are ovulating? i get my periods around the same time each month. I don't know how long my cycles are because i just started paying attention to everything. My LMP was Nov. 21. I should be ovulating maybe today? or tomorrow? Thank you!!

Ok. So we have a cat who has always slept in the room with us. He is a sweetheart and really don't want to make him mean or lose his personality. He has been our baby up until now. Our son will be born in the next 3 weeks or so. We are planning on having him sleep in our room. We have been trying to keep the cat out of the room for a week now and he keeps me up all night banging on the door. Last night I gave up and locked him in the basement and felt horrible and still didn't sleep. Any ideas on how to deal with this? I know there are cat tents to keep cats out of cribs. Anything like that for bassenets as our baby will use that at first?

I gave my almost 1 year old daughter whole milk for the first time yesterday. today she had a fever of 101. could the fever be a reaction to the milk?? she had no other symptoms, except her stool was a little softer today...but not like diahrea(dont know how to spell that sorry).

We are moving to a 2 bedroom and I am wondering if i should use the 2nd bedroom as a nursery and put the crib in there with my 7 month old son. Or should we keep our child sleeping in our room (his crib in our room) and use the 2nd room for our vanity table dresser and our desk. I like the idea of giving my child his own very colorful bright room but am very scared to let him sleep in his own room. The two rooms are right next to eachother.. share a wall and both doors are also right next to eachother... WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I have been ttc#1 going on 7th month and I am just losing my hope. I have the flu and I am 39 weeks pregnant. Any suggestions on how I can make myself feel better sooner? I know I can take Tylenol but it really isn't much of a help. I am trying to drink lots of water and rest all day... any other advice?

I am due on Dec. 25 and it is looking like I will deliver before then. So, here's the issue. Usually for Christmas, we visit my parents who are divorced at their home. My father and step-mother both smoke, inside, but they go outside when people are there. This Christmas is a little different. My step-mother is in the final stages of a battle with cancer and this will be her last Christmas. Since she is so sick, she doesn't go outside to smoke anymore, and it is her house. So, what to do? Take my son, and 2 year old daughter to their house, and expose them to second hand smoke or not go at all. I know they won't smoke while we are there, but before we get there, I am sure they will. And the house will be smoky. My step-mother can't leave the house, so having them here isn't an option.
I am just looking for what other mothers would do in this situation. I know medically, they shouldn't go. BUT she isn't very close to passing away and I want my step-mother to have a nice Christmas!

me and my hubby have been tcc for 3months. (His job requires him to be gone for 3 weeks at a time),but,this month of Nov he was home , So i'm hoping we sealed the deal.

- Last period was OCt 29
- tested Dec 2 =it was Neg
-we did every week about 3x a week
-not under any stress right now

when should i test again and be confident in my results?
Like in 1 week ,2weeks, or at the end of the month?

today my father in law found out i'm pregnant and is highly upset. My mother in law knew time whole time but, kept it a secret knowing how he is. Well anyways his daughter had gotten pregnant years ago when she was 17 and he made her get an abortion but, even till today she's still with the same guy. Anyways my fiance doesn't believe in getting an abortion but, my father in law has threatened that if i don't get one we have to move out of his house. I know abortion is wrong and i'm stressing really bad because i have my ultrasound tomorrow and i had a positive test for the baby's spine development so, i may be losing the baby already. He comes home at five so i need all the answers i can get. Anyways my fiance & I tried to get married because that's there tradition, we even tried to have a puppy and he said no to all of it. What should i do should i stay or move out?

Yesterday I posted about my son having diarrhea after 2 days of squash but then 2 regualar days. Now he has it again after 2 days of sweet potatos. I am nervous b/c I dont know why. He doesnt have any type rash to indicate allergy to the food and actually feels great like normal. He just has runny runny runny diapers. What do you think and should I call the doctor? Im thinking they will just say to keep him hydrated since he feels fine.

I also think he might be teething. Could that be the reason for the tummy trouble? Poor baby!!!

Alright my cousin is only 16. She recently had a beautiful baby boy in July. She got pregnant when she was 14 yrs old by a man who is now 38. (SERIOUSLY) All my cousin does is smoke trees, drink, hang out and have sex all the time w/ the 38 yr old in my Grandmothers house. This man climbs up a ladder in the back of the house to get into my cousins room. Neither my cousin nor her baby daddy take care of their child my grandmother who is 74 w/diabetes and kidney failure does. Whenever my cousin has the baby (on days my grandmother does to dialysis 3 days out of the week) he has bruises and cuts like shes abusing him. What can I do (not being her legal guardian)about this whole situation?

P.S My cousins mother and father aren't in her life.

hair, his eyes were blue at birth but the changed to gray and his skin is like on olive complection. My question is How often does this type of thing happen because my Husband is also African American but his dad has hazel eyes but no white that we know of. So is it possible for this thing to happen??

I had really bad morning sickness and some people say that means a girl.
My boyfriend is also gaining weight with me, heard that was a boy?

Me is 3 months old, I know its my fault, cos I cuddled him to sleep a lot during the day, but now he wont goto sleep without me. I have tried putting him in his cot, he just screams and screams. If I put him in his bouncy chair, he just stares about until he is so tired he is hysterical. It would be so nice just to be able to put him down somewhere when he is tired and for him to go to sleep, lol.
He will sleep when out in his buggy, but I dont really want to take him out 3 times a day!

Ok, sorry, but this is going to be a little long.

My last period was Oct. 22, according to my charting I ovulated around Nov. 9, so my husband and I had sex Nov. 4 - 11. On Nov. 11 I woke up with metal mouth and had metal mouth for 2 days. On Nov. 17 I had mild cramping and I noticed blue veins on my breasts, areolas, and lower abdomen. This had never happened to me before and I was sure we'd succeeded in getting pregnant this month.

Well, my period was due on Nov. 23, but it didn't show, so I took a HPT. It was a negative. I've take 4 tests every other day since then and they've all been negative.

Well, 4 years ago I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, when I was pregnant then I never got a positive HPT, I could only confirm pregnancy with a blood test. I thought maybe that was one of the reasons I had a miscarriage.

So, this past Monday when I was still getting negative HPT's but I had no period I'd decided to go get a blood test done on Tuesday. When I woke up on Tues.

His father walks around the house in a *three piece suit*, and his mother wears floor length dresses, aprons, bonnets, etc... His grandparents are also fully clothed.

Little Bear, however, is permitted to run around just as naked as the day he was born. In winter, he appears to wear a scarf, but nothing else.

I'm concerned.
