Pregnancy & Parenting - 5 December 2007

We're having a little girl any day now. We are naming her "Rebekah" for her first name. We like "Rain" for a middle name, but we're not sure if it's too weird or hippie-ish. We like it because one meaning of rain is "blessing from above". We also kind of like "Renee". Which middle name would work best with Rebekah as a first name. Also, by the way, our last name has two syllabals.
Any other middle name recommendations to go with Rebekah? Thanks much!!!

My friend's niece is 15 mos. & calls people "peach", but we know what she's saying. & she calls people "hoes", & she says, "puck". Well, she gets it from her 17-yr. old mom who curses a lot & calls people bitches & hoes but then has nerve enough to punish the baby & spank her & yell at her when she does it.

I also have seen lots of other babies saying curse words as one of their 1st words.

I had this test done today and it was negative, meaing I should not go into labor within the next 2 weeks, which is good since I'm only 23 weeks along. If you've had this test, what was the outcome of the test, and was it correct? Thank you.

I think my daughter is getting too used to being held by me all the time. I tried all day to put her down once she fell asleep in my arms and she woke up less then 30 seconds later and would begin screaming.

They say you can't spoil a new born, but I am beginning to disagree with that. She is in her crib right now. Should I let her cry it out or is she still too young?

PS My son was much different, he liked being in his bouncer and crib so I am at a loss on how to deal with this.

she came in with me and the doctor told me to take off my shirt, and then did a physical on me. i told my mom many of times im notcomfortable with her in the room, but she wont listen, she always wants to be in there. i think its becuase she thinks i am having sexual intercourase, but im not. how do i tell her to get out of there.

remember, ive asked her nicely many of times!!!

Ok so today before Study Hall I squrked Hand Sanitizer on my friend Chris' back and then Chris and this kid Josh got into a Sanitizer fight. Chris got it on this kids backpack we got yelled at by the math teacher, she supended Chris and gave me and his kid Franky detention and made us write a letter to are parents and if we got have it signed weget supended, but she let Josh go because he lied and she believed him just because he is passing her class!

After see let him go she said "You children are never gunna get anywhere life! Who want to hire someone who get strait D's on there report card? Why do come to school because your parents make you? Well stop up space! I wish I could see you in 10 years so I can laugh because your homeless and got know where to go! You better marry some rich to take care of you because your not gunna get anywhere!"

And I am only failing her class because I have trouble in math! Do you think she right?

are dollar store tests accurate?! i've been ttc for 2 months now.
on october 28th i got light spotting that was brown with just a tiny bit of blood, but it lasted like 5 days and i got about 4 neg tests so i gave up on the idea that i was preg. november we tried again alot during my fertile days and according to a 34 day cycle i should have gotten my period on the 30th of november or the 1st of this month. i still haven't gotten it, instead i've had really sore nipples for a little over a week now, and now the outside of my breasts are becoming sore. that's never happened to me before a period. i have been unable to get through the day without passing out for a nap, and i've been able to eat more than i ever have before.

also, on the day i was supposed to get my period me and my lover noticed i had a large amount of white lotion-like discharge instead. i still have it. and among other symptoms, i keep getting really low intensity cramps since yesterday.
i got neg tests today?

My son is 6 months old. When he was 2-3 months he slept 9.5 hours straight a night. Now he goes to sleep at 8/9 ish sleeps until 2am (if i'm lucky) eats and goest back to sleep, but then he is waking up at 4 am and waking up about 3-4 times in between 4am and 7am. I have a three year old who slept all night at 8 weeks old. I am in desperate need of a full night sleep, my husband helps, but it's still hard. I need any advice I can get. Someone told me to let him cry, but i'm not sure if that is ok at this age. Any help would be great!! Thanks

I'm sixteen, my boyfriend is seventeen... and me and boyfriend are always careful.. I don't know where we messed up.. we always use condoms and we're both in highschool.. I took the test it said positive so I took another one and it said the same thing.. so I'm sure I am.. but my parents are gonna kill me.. I just found a guy they like and now I feel like they're gonna hate me and him.. I don't know what to do.. As the question states my wife and I are having trouble getting pregnant, our sex life was great we both reached orgasm and we had a few close ones but they turned out to be failed attempts as the rest, All of her functions are pretty normal ovulation through to period, so I am thinking that perhaps it could be me, any advice or thoughts on the matter?

She is going to get married to a guy in the military and he wants to adopt her daughter. How long would it take and would the court make it difficult for him to adopt her because they would have to find the "biological father"? The "biological father" isn't in the little girl's life. He went to legal and they said that they have to find her father so he can say that he will give up his rights. To me I don't think he has any rights because he isn't in her life and isn't on the birth certificate as her father. They are both concerned and stressed about it. I just wanted to see if anyone has went through this and could be of help.

I had this dream i was pregnant, a couple of weeks later my friend had the exact same dream about me but her dream was more in detail.

A little while after that, i was the talk of the school with many rumours going around about me and hey!, they still are going around and it has now been nearly 12 and a halff months lol.

People would come up to me and ask if i was pregnant and if i had been having sex?

Do these dreams mean anything? The rumours i can handle but, by not knowing if the dreams mean anything makes it alot harder to deal with?
