I am 23, my husband and I have been married 3 1/2 years and we had a planned pregnancy, i am now 36 weeks pregnant, and still have second thoughts sometimes! Amongst all the excitement of being pregnant, and feeling my little baby girl moving inside me, I still have fears and anxieties all the time! But I know, with the connection I am feeling with my little baby growing inside me already that this was no mistake. I don't think anyone can be totally ready for a baby emotionally, financially, nothing but every baby is a blessing and the love you feel for the baby (even before it's born) is undescribe-able. It's amazing!
Good luck to you, make sure your married or in a stable relationship - that's my only advice for you!! Good luck, and a possible congrats is in order!!!

I am also TTC, no kids, but I have had these thoughts from time to time. I think it is normal- it's a life changing event, it should be a little scary. For myself, I know that I am ready and prepared to make the sacrifices involved. I've enjoyed my life until now, and I know I will continue to enjoy life as a mom (hopefully I'll become one!).
If you're not PG this month, maybe you should ease off for a little while and think it through some more, make sure it's what you really want. Talk to your partner, see what he thinks.

Sure, I wonder the same things sometimes. We have only been married a year, and I keep thinking theres plenty of time. But, even though I've tried to ignore it, I'm just ready to be a Mommy. I know I'll make one heck of a good one. I just have that feeling that wants to nuture and care of a baby. If I don't have a child, I'll just baby my dog and my husband for the rest of our lives. I think that both of them can't wait till i get preg.!! hehehe

I've been trying for over 4 years, and I STILL stop and ask myself "am I sure?" on a weekly basis.
Good luck to you

It's okay to get nervous, but I bet when you see BFP you'll forget just how worried you are and be thrilled. Good luck and baby dust!

Dodo, you are definitely not ready, a child is a life long commitment, no fun, believe me, if you are, get an abortion ASAP, the sooner, the better.
