Before I got pregnant, we had really nice relationship. But with all that hormones occuping my brain, I now can't stand him. He drives me crazy, no matter what he is doing. Just idea of him kissing me gross me out. Is it going to go away? I am 21 weeks and I though it would be better after first trimester, but it is worse.

Does anybody know what would happen if you fell down the stairs at 40 weeks pregnant or got punched in the back? would it harm the baby or just make our waters break? in desperate need of some advice

I am very disappointed in them after reading they made the TOP 10 LIST for WORST PRODUCTS EVER - because they Blamed CHINA for the lead and bad design flaws in the products that were recalled...Matel itself was to blame - and even though they have publically admitted that it was wrong to blame China - I feel the damage was done... I will not support this company (heck I try to support LOCALLY made companies more anyhow...)

How do you feel about Matel? will you continue to support them?

In what week of pregnancy does nausea begin?I know,it can vary from woman to woman but just a rough idea?
I confirmed positive in about 9th week.untill then I didn't have any nausea.But withinn 2 days after that,I started feeling it.I hate cooking smells,can't eat enough and just feel tired all the time.
How do you cope?

I had a MW for just over an hour when my baby was being born, then she left. They came back to do the newborn check the next day, then came again when the baby was eight days old to weigh her. I found out when my baby was four months old that most people have a check up at six weeks, but I was never offered one/asked to have one, nor was my baby. She was also never called for her injections, and ended up having them two months late.

Has anyone else not had a checkup or not been offered one? Were my baby or I put at any risk by not having one?

This might sound like paranoia to some ppl but a lot of mums will recognise what im saying. I go into town a lot in the day as I have shopping to get but also to keep my daughter amused. I've noticed in most stores I get followed by staff, I even caught one guy bending down trying to see what was under the pram & another time a snotty looking woman suddenly appeared with her arms crossed, stern look on her face directed at me, it upset me so muc I left the shop. The security always seem to be swaning around me, my friends noticed it too. Maybe its because we both look young. Whenever I go on my own (which is rare) they pay me no notice. The funny thing is, why they're watching me who has no intention of stealing, someone else could easily pinch things.
Do you notice this too?

im 16 wks pregnant and my mum doesnt kno cause i wanted to get the first scan to make sure it was real. and it said i an 16 wks my mum tried to ban me from having kids till i am 35 but im only 21. how do i tell he without her freaking out i dont wanna lose her or anyone. please help.

I've asked questions about this a few times....sorry....
but this is a NEW question.....

I've been having lots of cramping...just like period cramps (I get BAD cramps) and now I'm bleeding normal period colour.....about a tablespoon or 2 yesterday....it seems to be getting heavier I'm pretty sure I'm miscarrying....

but the Question....

If I start heavy bleeding.....I have no sick day left at work and if I leave I will get fired. So what can I do? Lose my job?....
Even with a doctors note they will fire me....

I am 1o weeks pregnant and I work full time and my husband and I run a dance school and dance company. So my schedule is work 7:00-3:00 and dance rehearsal and 4:30pm-8:00pm on mon, tue, wed and fri our schedule was working fine because we are building something and I felt really positive about that. We want our dance school to be our main source of income. Now that I pregnant this schedule is really getting hard I spoke to my husband yesterday about quitting my job and I would just work on the business so it could come along faster. We got into a big argument because I make majority of the money and he feels like if I quit I will be making our family struggle on purpose and he got very upset. He also said that people have been working pregnant for years and I should be stronger that that and I am diverting from our plan which was for me to work and after the baby take off. He really made me feel bad he said he has the same schedule as me and he is able to make it. He is not pregnant. After our conversation yesterday I am going to stay at work but am I selfish for asking to stop working he made me feel so bad he said he is trying his best and he is tired and has the same schedule as me but he is making it work. He also said people would love to just stay home and work on a business but it is not reality. I realize all these things but I still feel so tired some days I can barley concrete. Was I wrong? {Please no hurtful answers yesterday was hurtful enough I can’t take any more mean things said}

Ok I've been reading alot of questions lately regarding epidurals and drug free labors. And I've noticed alot of comments made to women that are considering drug free births are rather nasty and uncalled for.
" Your not going to win some mother of the year award/medal" (because they choose to not have drugs) or
" You wont be a better mother just because you dont have drugs"

Which I personally think is rather nasty and mean. If someone chooses to have a drug fre birth that is their choice. And obviously they dont expect any medal or award, but have their own reasons for opting for no drugs.
So why they uncalled for comments? Or am I just taking it the wrong way and over reacting?

I dont think any better or any worse of any woman whether she had a drug free birth or had every drug under the sun. We all went through pregnancy and labor to have the precious gifts at the end. So what difference does it make how you handled labor.

I am almost 34 weeks with my first.. I have a desk job, and i am getting soooooooooooo uncomfortable!! I plan on working till my 39th week, and i know that it is just going to get more uncomfortable.. but does anyone have any suggestions for sitting all day?? it feels like my uterus is pushing so far in to my lungs and stomach!! any advice from experienced mommys!!! thanks!!!

I'm a new divorced, forced into the work front mom. It's my first day of work and, oddly enough, my children's school was first delayed by 2 hours and then canceled. I did not plan on this as it is less than 2 inches of snow and nothing to call school off for. I am originally from Cleveland and am used to school being in session in blizzard like conditions! Anyhow... my kids are at that in between age where they aren't quite old enough to stay by themselves. One more year and my daughter could babysit her younger brother.

I want to know how badly it looks for me that I couldn't make it in. They are aware of my situation with my kids and my schedule as I informed them up front that I need to work around a certain schedule. They are willing to allow me to come in tomorrow for oreintation, but I worry that this may happen more frequently than I originally thought.

What do others do when school is canceled last minute and you need to go to work and have no sitter?

Im getting induced tommorow morning and was wondering what i should eat. The hospital admittance form says "regular diet" on it so im assuming i can eat in the morning. (Im going to call and make sure though) My question is do you have any suggestions on what i should eat before i go in at 6:30 in the morning? OR any suggestions on what i should eat tonight before bed? I am a very nauseated person, i can almost guarentee i will be throwing up the whole time in labor! Im just looking for food ideas that wont be bad vomiting back up OR make me have to use the bathroom!
