I would get up at least every hour and move around your desk, or walk to the break room. And while you're at your desk, periodically stretch a little and change positions.

Make sure you're in a comfy chair and check to make sure your posture is good (suck in your tummy and keep your back straight).

Bad posture more than anything, can aggravate aches and pains and make breathing uncomfortable.

Change your sitting position often, make sure you have good posture and good circulation in your legs as well, maybe even get a small stool to elevate them under your desk every once in a while. Ask your supervisor/boss to let you take a few small brakes during the day. You need to get up and walk around, stay hydrated, too.

Speak to your supervisor and request a few more, 10-15 minute breaks. During that time, walk around the building, do some light stretches, do something other than sitting down.
