I've asked questions about this a few times....sorry....
but this is a NEW question.....

I've been having lots of cramping...just like period cramps (I get BAD cramps) and now I'm bleeding normal period colour.....about a tablespoon or 2 yesterday....it seems to be getting heavier I'm pretty sure I'm miscarrying....

but the Question....

If I start heavy bleeding.....I have no sick day left at work and if I leave I will get fired. So what can I do? Lose my job?....
Even with a doctors note they will fire me....

Go talk to the supervisor. Even if you have no sick days left, they will very likely have an exception in case of an emergency. If they don't, that's a pretty awful workplace. I doubt they can actually fire you for a medical emergency. If they do - wrongful dismissal lawsuit.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

Whoa...sounds like you ar in a jimmie...but honestly in my opinion...if you are 100% sure you are pregnant....leave now...there is no reason why you should risk your health, and the life of your childs...and if you choose to stay...you should sew...this is damaging the autonamy of yourself and of others.....You are having a miscarriage if you have already had a positive pregnancy test, then get these symptoms:

Strong cramps that make you double over or breathe in a huffy way.
Bleeding will usually follow quickly.
Heavy bleeding that soaks a pad in a few hours or less.
Passage of tissue, resembling large thick blood clots in the earliest
weeks up to pinkish/grayish material, with or without cramps or pain

A little bit of bleeding without cramping should be okay, but call a doctor. Small darting cramps, even if they hurt, are also okay, usually they just signal the body stretching and pulling to accommodate the growing baby. Lie down and the cramps will usually go away within the hour.

Sounds to me like you are concerned...obviously. Your children come before your job. That is completely normal. I say yes, leave the job and go to the doctors office. Jobs can come and go. You can always find another and your boss if he really would fire you for this isn't a good boss anyways. Go to the doctors and find out if your baby is ok. I'm so sorry. The same thing happened to me Friday and I lost mine. I know what you are going through. Take care and God will give you the strength that you need.

With a doctor's note if they fire you, yu can take them to court for wrongful discharge. It's more important to protect yourself and your child by going to a hospital than it is too worry about your job right now. Yu can always get another job. If yu ahve a pllacental abrupption or a severe miscarriage, your life is not so easy to repalce. learn the employment laws in your area and get a lawyer if need be.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds bad and not normal.

Go to the doctor. Women have died from miscarrying. Just go to the doctor your health and the health of your baby is so much more important. You must go to the doctor and you know if you dont go you will regret it.

You should go into hospital now - go straight there now.

Lose your job or lose the child. Damn, that's a real tough decision for you huh? You can always sue your employer for firing you in an emergency life or death situation for you and the unborn child but you can never go back and save the child when it's gone. The key word here is THINK about it!

Girl! I wouldn't even be worrying about losing a job. You had better worry about losing your baby!!! If they fire you, then that's their loss! Go to the doctor!

It sounds like you need to get yourself to hospital, explain the situation and if they are that pathetic to sack you, take them to a tribunal they are not allowed to do that it is illegal.

Take it from me i have had 14 miscarriages and i could not have done 1 of them at work!

Your health is more important GO TO HOSPITAL!!!!

Good luck and if it is a miscarriage i am truly sorry it is something none of us have to go through!

Thinking of you

your employers will understand if you have to go the doctors because you think you're losing your baby. they will give you unpaid leave - they're not allowed to fire you if a doctor has signed you off.

they cant fire you if you have to go to the emergency room and have the docs to prove it.. that is illegal.. and you will get a lot more out of a law suit than you probably would with their salary.. you are most important right now..
