Have you ever tried the intelligender test to find out the sex of your baby?? My sister ordered me one, and within 5 minutes, it turned smoky green, so ITS A BOY!!! I was skeptical about it at first, but it was awesome. Anyone else have any success stories??

I know that there are a lot of recalls out right now for name brand toys that contain lead. But what about toys that are not "name brand" toys. I have a large family with lots of kids to buy for including my own two kids. Some of the toys that my kids get are the cheap, dollar store kind that are all mostly made in china. Should these toys be avoided all together?

my last 2 cycles were normal (sept 12 & Oct 11) I was to get a period Nov 9 but it never came I only had bad cramps for 2 weeks as if af was coming, I test 17 dpo with a $ tree hpt and it cameout (-) and today I am getting lite cramps again if I did had my af last month around this time this month I would be getting af, my (/0 is why am I having these period like cramps an no AF is coming, I would be going to the dr but my appointment isn't until Friday @ 4

i just had a baby almost 3 months ago. for the past 2 months I've had sex almost every day using condoms(none broke or slipped off). I've had 2 periods. my last one was 2 weeks ago. I've been very naseaus for 1 week and 1/2 now everyday all day. chance of pregnancy or something else?

Why do women protest so much about breastfeeding in public?It really annoys me because they may feel they are doing a good job etc etc (heard it all before), but what they don't think about is what if parents haven't spoken to their young children about sex education and where baqbies come from yet this would distress a child to see this and force the parents into having to talk about it before their ready which just isnt fair. I think its all well and good that women breast feed if they choose to but is it absolutley necessary to actually get em out in public?Sometimes feel as though they do it because they feel in a way proud of it and want every one to see them do it and then winge if anyone remarks.i work in a shop at weekend where i fit childrens shoes,and it absolutley horrible when women come in and breastfeed because i have to be on my knees when i do fitting and theyr like in my face doing it its so unfair i jus dnt want to see that.Anyone agree?

My best friend is bringing her 4-year-old daughter home from Guatemala. This has been an extremely long adoption process for them, and I wanted to bring a gift to the little girl to welcome her home. I'm meeting them at the airport, and I would like to have something special there. Any ideas?

Since she was born she took a picifier. Now she doesnt want it, but she sucks on her hand as if she's trying to suck her thumb but she cant find it or get the hang of it. I know it isnt a good habit for her to acquire but it helps calm her and put her to sleep. What can I do to help her learn how to suck her thumb not her hand?

She has not had a bowel movement in almost two days and is a lot fussier than usual. Shes not running a temp and the doctor said its normal for newborns to go a couple days without pooping, but she seems very uncomfortable. Can I do anything to help her?

I am looking for both the answer to this question, and help with the process if possible. We have a 15 year old daughter who basically needs to move out of our home. From what I understand, she would not qualify for Emancipation as I don't believe a judge would grant it. If we can't find a positive way for her to leave home *AND* not be stuck with both parental/legal responsibility for her, we are concerned she may eventually become "a ward of the court" and/or get pulled "into the system". She has already had a few brief run ins with "police" (for running away) and due some some "unhealthy" actions she was taking on herself, ended up in a "crisis mental health clinic" for a few days. She has always been a challening person, so this is NOT a simple case of a "troubled teen" or "teenage issues". She wont accept counseling(psychiatric) and you can't FORCE a minor in California to do so unless we declare her a danger. If we do the we (and herself) lose control over the situation.

I have been trying to conceive.
I got a faint positive Nov 14th it was very thin and it was blue.
But got my period the next day.
Now its Dec 5th, I've taken 3 more tests since, because I still felt like i was on my period after it had stopped. Im still cramping, have headaches alot, im having mood swings, and cravings, and extra discharge with no odor. All the tests I took were positive but faint a thin like pencil thin the line across was thick, the line going up was thin, but it was blue. Could it be an evaporation line? Although it was there before 10 minutes, but it showed more clearly after that. I am going to go to the doctors really soon, The hubby and I are so happy if this is true. My next period Is in 7 days. If I am I think im about 7 weeks.

I went to my 7 year old son's parent teacher conference last night and had great reviews about him, but she addressed the fact that my son feels like he can't call me to pick him up when he feels ill, as it is hard for me to leave work and don't really have anyone available to pick him up...then she said that he seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders...my son is very considerate and puts others ahead of himself...is that such a bad thing...and what exactly does she mean by saying that?? please help me out...thanks!!

Anyone around the same prenatal time, could you please let me know some of your symptoms? I have 3 kids already...a 3 year old and twins one year old girls (still breastfed), but I never knew if I was pregnant this early. I was just wanting to see if anyone has the same symptoms...

Can anyone give me some ideas of how to help my son memorize his multiplication tables? We use flash cards but he can't seem to get that 2x9 is the same as 9x2 and forgets the answer, and it really frustrates him. Any ideas on how to help him would be appreciated. He's 10 and in 4th grade.
