It is normal to think about it and be curious, however, teach him that thoughts are able to be controlled. They do not control us, we control them. He can choose to not think about it as much. He can think about other things instead.

Good luck

It's normal for a boy his age to have sexual thoughts a lot- most do. It's because he suddenly has all these new hormones racing through his system, and they make him feel this way and may make him feel strange at times. As long as he doesn't act on these feelings, they are perfectly normal and healthy. He will eventually grow out of this stage- it won't last forever.

I know this is what everybody else will answer but this is VERY normal and i have a guy friend and thats all he thinks about too. (we are 13) If you get him to do sports in a team it might take his mind of things for a bit. Its hormones that do it. If it makes him fell better, go to the doctors and see what they say about it. After all every one goes through it!

I remember being 12 and feeling like a tom cat in heat and no idea why exactly. I think he's about average. Just reassure him EVERY guy has a time like that, but it gets easier.

If he seems ready, you might refer him to one or all of these sites, they might help him make sense of it all? There's some things a 12 year old could NEVER ask his mom after all.

It's perfectly normal.

Heck, I'm a girl and I was like that at 14 (thankfully kept it in my head lol no teen sex here).

Just as long as he understands not to go rushing into it just because he's thinking about it a lot, he'll be fine. Frustrated maybe lol but fine.
