Yes, it is possible and normal. I actual began producing it when I was only a few weeks pregnant with both of my pregnancies. It's not actual milk, it's colostrum. :-)

Yeah, I just found that out last week and I am 7 months pregnant also. I squeezed my nipple to make sure it was not going to invert when I breastfeed (something they told me to check in the breastfeeding class) and I laughed when a drop of milk or colostrum or whatever it is came out. Is is such a trip to think that our bodies will be making food for our babies.

Yes. Some women start leaking as early as 4 months. Your body starts to produce the milk very early on I believe my lactation consultant said it was at 3 or 4 months. So you could definately be leaking milk.

Wear pads to protect yourself it it's leaking on it's own but if it's only when you squeeze them then you probably don't need to worry to much about the pads.

:)

Yes, it's quite common for "pre-milk" or early colostrum to be produced. Think about it - your uterus has Braxton Hicks contractions to practise for labor. Your breasts are just gearing up so that they are ready to produce milk for your baby.

Not a good idea to squeeze them though - nipple stimulation is a pretty effective way of inducing labor! So wait until you are term before you try that technique!

Yes, it's very likely. It should most likely be clear or yellowish though, not white. You get colostrum first which is clear or yellowish. Milk doesn't actually come in until 3-5 days after you have your baby.

your body only produces colostrum until you give birth because then a different hormone is released. So, its probably not milk, but pre-milk, colostrum

yes... it's colostrum, the first stages of milk production. it's liquid gold, full of immunities your lil freshly hatched one will need, if you choose to nurse. Don't squeeze them, and it won't come out.

The milk doesn't come in until after the baby is born. But its normal to have discharge from your nipples while you are pregnant. Its from all the extra hormones. gross though huh? lol
