Next time you go, remind your mother that it makes you uncomfortable when she goes in with you. If she still insists on going back, when the nurse comes in to check your blood pressure, temp, etc just look at her and say you feel uncomfortable with you mom in there with you and she said she won't leave. The nurse legally has to escort you mother back to the waiting room. Your mom may be upset but maybe remind her that if she was going back for an exam that she may not feel comfortable with you back there.

The doctor always ask a girl when her last period was, or if they started it. It's pretty normal for them. Why would you have kept it a secret in the first place, it's not that big a deal and even if she isn't nice she's been through it before so it's not going to be something she's not expecting, it could have been just, hey I got my period and you go on with life, it didn't have to be some in-depth talk. You put yourself into this situation, a doctor asks those types of question they are important to find out if an aching back could be do to cramps or something else, they ask you all the time no matter what as you get older. What do you have to make it better? It's done and over with and you get over it. People knowing you have your period isn't a big deal at all.

If it makes you uncomfortable talk to your doctor. Your doctor can ask your mother to step out of the room while you have your physical.
When a had my 14-year physical I got to choose if I wanted my mom to be there, but next year at my 15-year my mom isnt allowed in the room. Doctors rules.

You have the right to privacy, regardless of your age. Your Mum doesn't need to be in the doctors room with you.
When you go their next time tell your Mum before you get there that you don't feel that she needs to come in with you anymore. If she doesn't listen wait until you're in the doctors room and tell your doctor that you don't feel comfortable with her being there with you. You doctor will ask your Mother to leave. Hopefully if she wont listen to you, she'll listen to your doctor.
The only time your doctor will tell your Mum about what you have spoken about is if they think you're at risk of hurting yourself or someone else. You can speak to your doctor about any issue and it's their responsibility to keep it private and it's your right.

Is there a nurse in the room while you are getting your physical done as well as the doctor? Maybe she is worried that the doctor will do stuff that he/she isn't supposed to do when she isn't in the room. Tell the doctor how you feel about not having her in the room, but make sure there is someone else in the room with you.

Try passive resistance.....tell the doc he can't touch you till mom leaves, be firm about it and don't give in no matter what. If the doc or nurse tries to touch you before then smack the hell out of them. Moms need to learn how to let go and somtimes you have to play hard ball to get your point across.

You need to tell the doctor that you do not want her in there. He probably assumes that you do not mind since she comes in. The next time you are to go, call the doctors office and talk to someone about it.

Should you get a moment with the nurse, say something to her and she will guide your mother out. Are you older than 14? If not, you are stuck. Until then, you'll just have to grin and bear it.
