Ok, sorry, but this is going to be a little long.

My last period was Oct. 22, according to my charting I ovulated around Nov. 9, so my husband and I had sex Nov. 4 - 11. On Nov. 11 I woke up with metal mouth and had metal mouth for 2 days. On Nov. 17 I had mild cramping and I noticed blue veins on my breasts, areolas, and lower abdomen. This had never happened to me before and I was sure we'd succeeded in getting pregnant this month.

Well, my period was due on Nov. 23, but it didn't show, so I took a HPT. It was a negative. I've take 4 tests every other day since then and they've all been negative.

Well, 4 years ago I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, when I was pregnant then I never got a positive HPT, I could only confirm pregnancy with a blood test. I thought maybe that was one of the reasons I had a miscarriage.

So, this past Monday when I was still getting negative HPT's but I had no period I'd decided to go get a blood test done on Tuesday. When I woke up on Tues.

I thought I'd started my period so I didn't go get a blood test. But, I didn't even bleed a whole day, and it was very light. Today I only have a little brown blood when I wipe (sorry if tmi). But I've felt very wet all day, like I am on my period. I know this isn't implantation bleeding because it's way too late for that. Has anybody ever had an experience like this and you were actually pregnant? Thank you!

Yes, and my son is 17 now. I panicked too, went to the hospital, and had an internal ultrasound which showed him still tucked up inside. Had no other problems through his pregnancy.

Yes, and brown blood is OLD blood. Usually red blood follows the brown blood once it's down coming out. For me personally with in almost 2 weeks after the start of the brown blood showed up my pregnancy ended in miscarriage. There was never a fetal pole, or heart beat, just a empty a sac according to U/S. The brown blood barely showed up, only when I wiped, and it got stronger and heavier then a actual flow started.

Goodluck.

PS
You can ovulate really late, (I ovulate really early b4 CD 10)... But implantation bleeding is usually light pink light tan, not brown.

It could be your period coming late....but brown blood means "old" blood so that can be from last months period...

Bright red blood is "new" blood...so unless you bled like that the first day....you could be pregnant.

As for your miscarriage....it's possible that the reason you miscarried was because your hCg levels didn't double like they were supposed to. Which would explain why you couldn't get a pos. home test. But that doesn't mean that's what's going on with this time.

BUT keep in mind....you're not that late so it's possible that you are simply too early to register yet. Call your Dr and get a beta screen to comfirm the pregnancy.

PS. my younger sister found out she was pregnant when she went to the Dr for HUGE veins popping out all over her breasts. He took one look at her and said "you're pregnant".

Good luck.
