ive always heard that right after you give birth you are very fertile... Well me and my boyfriend had a baby girl 3 weeks ago and we have unprotected sex the past 2 days. We were supposed to wait 6 weeks after delivery to even have sex but we didnt. Anyways, Im really worried that we are gonna get pregnant again. I cant start my birth control for another week. Does anyone know anything about how fast you can get pregnant after delivery or have any good website links i can use

I hear 6 wks, some say 9 wks. I heard that 6 wks into pregnancy is when the pregnancy test will actually show positive. I'm about 5 1/2 wks and I swear I think I'm pregnant. These are my symptoms:

*Tender breasts and nipples.
*Tired (All the time, I find myself crashing mid-day everyday for the past 2 wks)
*Weird stomach feelings. (Like queasiness but not really. Like hunger pains, but beyond reason. I'm confused with this because it slightly causing me to kinda feel like blah.)
*AF like cramps. (This is what makes me a sceptic, because I feel I will start anyday. But yet, they are a bit stranger than the average AF cramps. Plus I felt these alot earlier like 1 wk after the actual possible conception time. Now they are stronger.)
*Frequent urination with each time being only a little pee. (I feel like I have to pee every 3 seconds.)

I'm sorry if it's TMI, but you guys have helped me before I appreciate all the mommies you can help me through this. This is my first time TTC.

I was wondering what a doctor feels for when he pushes on your belly if he thinks you could be pregnant? What are they looking for and where exactly is it (for example) around the belly button or lower.

one of my friends got pregnant from her boyfriend of 3 months. she says they love each other and all that stuff. she really doesnt think he will leave her with the baby, however i know it happens often. i dont want to make her feel bad but i really think she made a bad decision, and she has only been with him for 3 months! she is rich so she says shes wont have a hard time supporting her baby. i dont know if i should tell her that she really ****** up or what. she made a very bad decision, am i right?

My boy for the last 5 days, is sleeping on the floor in his room. I wake him and tell him to get in his bed. When I wake up in the morning he is back on the floor. He is not falling out the bed I have watched him wake up go to the bathroom and then take his blanket and pillow and sleep on the floor.

He has asked me if he can sleep with me for the past few nights and I have told him no. I recently got him out of my bed. I went and got me a single bed so he could start sleeping in his own bed. Which is a really good matt and box set. I have been sleeping on my camping bed which is a queen sized air matt with a folding frame. He has slept in my bed since The ex and I split up. He has always had his own bed. I bought it when I moved back in to the old house.

Why is he on the floor? I don't want him to be sleeping with me there is just no room. Should I go back to the air matt?

My son constantly has horribly chapped lips - they almost look like blisters sometimes and the skin peels off them quite a bit. We do apply lip balm often but if we go a day or two and forget, they get chapped again. I'd like to do something about preventing it in the first place. Could it be from not drinking enough water or milk? He really doesn't drink enough of either, even though his diet is very healthy in every other respect - he eats tonnes of fruit and vegetables and everything else, but we are always after him to drink more. Any thoughts???

I really thought that this would be the month for me and my hubby...but I guess not. I was having some promising symptoms for a few days....my breasts were extremely sore and my nipples were very tender, and I had what I thought was implantation bleeding about 8 days after we had sex. (It was just a few drops of pink and I never have any spotting ever). I am starting to lose hope. I thought for sure I got pregnant this month! I have felt the urge to pee more, I get dizzy spells, and I have had nausea and rarely feel like eating.

I am supposed to start my period tomorrow, and I started getting the exact same cramps I get a day before I start. I'm feeling discouraged. I know I had been ovulating when we had sex, and we had sex multiple times.

My question is...have any of you ladies ever had cramps like you were about to start your period any second when you were pregnant? My cramps aren't really severe or painful...just annoying. I guess I'm out of luck this month...

Hello...this is the first month I start using CB ovulation monitor. My cycles are irregular and long but I have 2 days peak cd 25 last cycle testing with CB digital ovulation. I bought the CB monitor this month and start testing, it show high throughout since cd 11and today on cd 25, monitor show a "M" flashing and wont' let me do a test. Based on last cycle around this time should be my ovulation days. What should I do...please help !!

Earlier today, I spanked my daughter, Ava, for disobedience about staying away from the stove/oven while I was making lunch.
I told her several times to stay in her seat at the kitchen table while I was cooking & not to come near the stove/oven because it was very hot & dangerous for her to get in the way.
The first few times she disobeyed, I put her in time-out in the corner. But as soon as the time-out ended, she'd disobey again & start coming up to the stove, trying to open the oven door.
So then I told her that the next time she disobeyed, she would get spanked.
Not more than two minutes later, when I saw her trying to sneak a peek at the oven door, I took her to her room & gave her a good spanking.
But since then, Ava's been refusing to speak to me at all, & I'm thinking she's just manipulating, because she's been spanked in the past & never acted like this. I also didn't spank any differently (harder, longer) than before.

Is it just manipulation?

I am renting a house and have heard footstep and experienced things being moved over and over again. I have never seen them move but my little statues are always facing a different direction, I move them back and within a few days they are moved again. I thought that I was just being silly or someone was messing with me because I do not really believe in ghost. Tonight my 2 year old was telling me that there was a little boy under our table (I did not see anything) and he wanted her sippy cup. She continued on and on about him.... she said he was scary and wanted new pajamas because his are yucky. She then ran into the kitchen and pressed herself against the wall saying that the scary boy wanted her sippy and was following her. I left and am now at my mothers. She told her all about the boys clothes, hair color, said that the little boy lives at her house too... Needless to say I am really freaked out, what would you do?

Hi I'm about five months pregnant and i have a few friends that are pregnant and no one will hire any of us in for a job but yet we see few pregnant woman working and when we try they say no or that they are just not hiring but yet they really are hiring, thats why I just don't understand people these days are they just to afraid that we will get hurt even if we are only working at the cash register. I have been jobless for almost five months and no matter where I go to get a job no one will hire it seems that people now and days are jsut to picky when it comes to work I think that a job is a job even if I don't like it but thats life when you need money right. I would get a job and if I didn't like it i would find a new one then quit my old one but my question is why are people not hiring in pregnant woman evevn if they can work.

okay I am asking for gentle answers here, not abuse LOL.

Okay to put it as much in a nutshell as I can, my 17 year old daughter is pregnant. I have come out of my "coma" about a month ago LOL and am dealing with it, but I have to tell my dad who I cannot really make anybody understand how he is and it would take more time than anybody has to have me explain. To put it mildly he is very reserved, religious, opiniated, very much mind set 1940s. I am not able to bring myself to tell him. I want to hide it from him, but that feels wrong to me, but I am afraid he is going to have a heart attack, he had surgery a few years back for heart problems, he is very weak in his older years, and I know you may think I am exagerating, but I am not, he may have a health issue after this revelation. I also am afraid of him giving it to me good. I know at my age I should not feel this way, but it is true. I have no more room to write, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

I'm going back to work soon and plan to breastfeed my baby exclusively for at least 6 months. I work from home in California for a company in Virginia. If I were to look up the laws regarding taking a "nursing break" approx. every 2 hours, would I look under California state laws or Virginia?

What is the process once you enter the hospital ??(preparation,etc)I know how a csection goes as I've had one before but it was an emergancy csection.
And how do you choose the date?

Is it harder to recover from your second csection as opposed to the first???? Mine was 4 yrs ago.
