my grandaughter is 3 years will be 4 in january and her speech is still not clear. we in the house speak english and spanish. all my kids was raised the same way never had a problem. Instead of she saying dora,she sz dola, and i noticed that sometimes she speaks like when a person has water in his ears or can hear good. the doctor said that she is just spoild and that she will talk o.k. in her time. But it worries me because her mother and my youngest daughter in her age will talk whole conversation, not slang or there is the blablablalalala.

I am afraid to call other places and tell them I am pregnant b/c i know they wont accept me. I need to find a place that will cover me and my baby. I don't know where to start to look. Help please to point me in the right direction.

I am checking out carseats for my son and I'm trying to get an estimate on where he might be in a few years. That way I can invest in a good seat that will hold him for a while. So, what is the average weight and height of a 4 year old boy? How about a 5 year old boy? I want to keep him harnessed as long as possible and also rearfacing for as long as possible...which is to about 30-35 lbs. rearfacing and 50-55 lbs. forward facing. Any suggestions on seats while we're on subject?

I told my man that there was a possibilty that I might be pregnant. We discussed the situation and the pros and cons of the situation. I took the test and I came out negative and he got all mad at me. I told him we can try again but he says he wants a baby now. I'm going to obgyn to see what is wrong. I have a fear that I can't concieve children and my man isn't talking to me for me to discuss this situation with.

he can say words very clearly but when it comes to putting sentences together he does not do it. We have been to a specialist and they could not give us an exact answer until he has been to speech therapy can you halp in any way?

hi, im currently 31 weeks pregnant and my baby never seems to stop moving! I will have the odd period of about 5 mins without a movement and then its back into overdrive! its not really a kicky baby, it just seems to shift from one side to the other, all day and all night! im not complaining as i know its a good thing to have all this movement, although my bump is getting quite tender. I just wondered if any one elses baby seems to be constantly on the go or if you had a baby in the past that was like that in the womb but a lot calmer once born as they say that at this stage the babies sleep pattern tends to be like it will be once born which worries me as at this rate it will never sleep!

It's oct 10 so about a month in advance..is that ok? i will only be 27 weeks & i've heard people ask wasn't it too early but with the holidays coming up i didn't want it in december or january. And I want to allow enough time to get things after the shower that I didn't get.

At what point to do just give up trying?

My husband and I have been ttc for over 3 years. We've both been checked out and there was no physical reason found for not concieving. I've been on clomid for several months now. We got pregnant a few months ago, but I lost it very early. This month I was ABSOLUTELY certain we were going to get pregnant. We both were. I have no idea why, we just knew deep down that this was the month. Then, a couple of weeks ago my hubby made a joke (sort of) that I was pg with twins. A couple of days later I found out that I had ovulated for the month, but that I had another egg coming and to continue the baby dance to increase my odds. (TWINS???) So needless to say, I had myself all kind of psyched up to be pregnant, possibly with twins. Well, I took a hpt this morning and it was negative. I am having some cramping in my abdomen which I am assuming is premenstrual.

My daughter is 14 and has three close friends. They spend a lot of time together either at my house, or the other girls' houses. This weekend I found out that one of the other mothers allowed the girls to go in a car with a boy driving to see a movie. My daughter would not have been allowed to go in a car with an underage driver had I known about it....is this unreasonable? Should I be upset with the other mother? I think kids grow up too fast these days and if you start letting 14 year olds do too much too soon, what are they going to be asking to do when they are 16?

My last period was September 15 and were were ttc this month. On Oct. 5 I was feeling queasy, crampy and had a very bad bloody nose (which I never get) so I decided to take a hpt early. EPT digital said Pregnant. Of course being me I had to take another right away (the 7th) Clear Blue digital and that one said not pregnant. Since I have been taking precaution just in case this happend to me last time 2 pos 1 neg a neg blood test and then a few weeks later a pos blood test. I was pregnant and then had a miscarriage shortly after. Does this happen to women frequently or am I just a freak of nature? :) So anyway I have been having abdominal discomfort and slight cramping, been unusually tired, cranky and hungry. I think I may be prego, but I need to hear others opinions because it may be my mind playing tricks on my body. I am afraid to take another test because I don't want it to be a neg. I have a doctors appt scheduled for next week Thurs. Please help!

My 8 weeks old son does not want to breastfeed anymore! He has been breasteeding since birth, but we started giving him one bottle feeding at night when he was about 2 weeksw old. For the past week with some feedings he has refused taking the breast, but takes a bottle. I am going back to work and will be pumping, but after work I'd like to breastfeed him. Any suggrstions how to make him breastfeed again?
Everybody tells me to just stopeed breastfeeding altogether and just give him a bottle, but I'd like to continue sharing this bond with him.

My abdomen has been achy for the whole 8 weeks, but now the right side of my lower back is sore. I read that lower backpain is a sign of miscarriage; but I don't know if its the whole lower back or just part of it. Also, I feel great today...not tired or sick like I have been. I have no unusual cramps or no bleeding or spotting. Am I just paranoid? I have another doctor's appt on Friday. Should I just swallow my concerns or call them now? I don't want them to think of me as the woman who cries wolf.

I have a 3 yr old who has major issues. She screams and yells at me and her dad, tells us we're mean, or that we're mad at her - will not listen to us - and if we try to punish her - she just doesn't care what kind of punishment she gets she is still just a "brat" I know she's only 3 and still testing her boundaries but I am a little worried about her emotional outbursts and have reached the end of my rope? Has anyone else dealt with this or have any suggestions on how to handle this - I'm starting to wonder if I need to speak to her Dr. about her and her outbursts...

me name is hifza . i wana concieve. the story is that i am 20 years old i got pregnant on april of ths year then after 12 weeks i had a miscariage and D&C .i was so devistated and i wanted to be pregnant the next month but i stay for two periods as my gyno told me .after that i keep trying to get get pregnant but i couldnt .i tried my best to concieve but may be i dont know he right way .or it could be any thing .it is the 3rd month after my misscariage .every time i have periods i caried and whenever i see kids i become so emotional ..so plz give me so advise or any tips that u guys know .i will appreciate if u take some time to read this and give me some suggestions waiing for ur reply ........

How did you do it when your lil one began to crawl then walk?
We have an area rug in the living room but I dont think thats enough. He can't get a grip when he is trying to crawl on the wood. He slips and on Friday he fell really bad :( I can take his socks off but in Cali. it is now getting cold.

Should we get rug? or are there any tips you can give me?

A lot of people say it's alright to engage in sexual activities during pregnancy as long as it could not cause discomforts on the part of the woman. But isn't it that stimulation (may be caused by sex) can lead to uterine contractions and this in turn might lead to premature labor? Do i make sense here?
