It's oct 10 so about a month in advance..is that ok? i will only be 27 weeks & i've heard people ask wasn't it too early but with the holidays coming up i didn't want it in december or january. And I want to allow enough time to get things after the shower that I didn't get.

Most people usually give 2 months notice for a shower!

Yes, go ahead. Like you said, with holidays and all you don't want to be doing things last minute. That will give people a heads up and time to plan attending. And it's fine to be a bit early - my shower was planned kinda close to my due date (less than a month), and on top of that my baby came early by 2 1/2 weeks. I had her less than a week after my shower! Thank goodness I received everything I could've needed or wanted at my baby shower. I was very lucky and grateful for that.

Its perfect timing. I understand about the holidays! Most people have their showers 4-6 weeks before they're due but I think that whnever you want to have it is fine!! Plus sending out invites a month in advance means more people will be able to come :)

wow you need to get those invites out right away, people need atleast a month in advance, usually more.

27 weeks is NOT too early at all for the shower. I had one at 16 and one at 7 months.

It's fine. Better early so that people can set that day aside for your shower
