4 ounces of Gerber Apple Juice, grape or pear for your little one. It works great.

There are laxitives and then there is Metamucil. Metamucil is made from psyllium fiber and is the best stomach medicine on the face of the planet. Mix a teaspoon in your favorite beverage at night before you go to bed, slam it(drink it straight down) and it will change your life. I say this from experience and just want you to know there is nothing better on the market than this stuff. Get the original coarse grain. I guarantee you will be happy.

The four Ps: Peaches, Pears, Prunes, Plums.
Also, apple/pear/prune juice. Applesauce is constipating, though.

Prune juice!!!!
Add more fiber to your diet, like oatmeal or raisin bran, and drink LOTS of water. Down a couple big glasses and have a warm bath and see if that's enough to get things, um, moving ;)

Our Dr had us try Karo Corn syrup. The clear kind and definetly not alot! it helped my son poo, and it was easy to get him to take. all we had to do was mix it into his bottle when we fed him and he'd drink it right down.. Avoid banannas! they are highly constipating!!!!! our dr told us to only give those when he had severe diahrrea. And Pear juice works magic too.... we also used that alot!
