I think that the name is great....it is original and has a great spelling. i don't think you should find another like it somewhere.
Don't listen to other ppl saying that its terrible and ppl will hate it, just know that you picked the name and love it and that's enough.
i am sure as your child grows older he will love his name and IF, as others have said, ppl make fun of him l8r in life(like all kids get called names growing up)he will make ppl respect his name and stick up for himself. it is life.
just pick a name u enjoy and he will love it. (you put love into nameing him, so pick one that you want not other ppl :D )

I know a guy named shan. I thought it was different at first, but I've come to know the guy pretty well, and the name fits him pretty good, and makes the name sound cool. So, I like it. I don't really like the spelling too much, it's too different and some may not know how to pronounce it. But anyway, cool name, I like it :)

Eh, no. Cian looks like it's pronounce SEE-in. If you like the name Shan, just name him Shan.

It sounds okay, but realize that he'll have his name mispronounced most of his life. If you name him Justin Cian Cosmac, no one will mispronounce it. This may seem minor to you, but I had an odd maiden name and people always mispronounced it. It got to be very old FAST.
Also, he'll have his name mispelled by almost everyone, and he might not be called for job interviews as often as "Mike Smith" will, because people don't want to call an applicant and not know how to pronounce his name; they may not think he speaks English; they might think he's a girl.

I don't think most people are going to be able to pronounce that.
Cosmac is such a cool last name...Justin is nice but a little plain next to the cosmac. How about Jupiter Justin Cosmac. You can call him JJ for short, JJ Cosmac. Coool!!!

why not shan instead... (makes for less trouble with people who like to ask "now how do you spell that again"?)
