During delivery her mother experienced some difficulties, so, Nurses pulled the baby by head. She can hear properly the difficulties in saying the words for example 'uncle' she says 'ako'

I will appreciate to have information on this as I am aiming to bring her to school and I am afraid she can not do well.

Custody of my 8 yr old daughter has gone from my X-husband to me and now he has her again. When she started school (kindergarten) I had custody up until first grade. When she was with me, she was 100% satisfactory in school. No problems. When she started 1st grade, she had what they call "red lights, yellow ect;" pretty much every week. second grade was not much better. Now she just started third grade and apparently has not been doing her work so the teacher makes her sit in the hallway. My x has been refusing me my parenting time with her because his current girlfriend does not like me. I am taking the matter back in to court but I am EXTREMELY worried about my daughters behavior and what I can do to correct it when I am not allowed in her life except for a wekend here and there. They also blame her behavior problem on me because I'm not in her life enough. Yeah, that's what I'm dealing with and SO much more. I just would like to know what else I can do about this. ANY & ALL suggestions would be appreciated.

It used to just happen at night but it is now happening in the day.
It can get quite scarey as he sometimes cant catch his breath and i need to pat his back quite hard.
He has on occasions gone very red with his eyes watering, and has even gone blue a few times.

He is 8 weks old.
I have told every health proffesional i have seen, even had a stay in the hospital.
He didnt do it in hospital so they didnt wittness it.
As soon as we returned home it started again.
Is it the air in my home? My house sometimes smells damp but we dont actually have mildrew growing anywhere, not even in the bathroom.

Has anyone else experienced this?
What was it?
Its scarey, we are not sleeping, Should we get a humidyfier?
Any ideas??
Please....

ps i have 3 other children and never experienced anything like this:0(

for a girl. A few months later she calls and excitedly tells you she's pregnant. A few months after that she tells you that the child is going to be a girl, just like they were hoping for. Then, shortly after that, with quivering voice, she tells you that the doctors have determined that the child will definitely be autistic, and maybe severely so. Maybe she hints that she'd like your advice. What would you tell her? Would you tell her that she should have an abortion? Would you tell her that once the child is born she could give her up for adoption? Would you tell her to put the child in a home for such as this child will be, and to do it ASAP? OR. would you still advise her to have the child? If so, what would you say and do, the first time you saw the baby? Would you say something like "Isn't she sweet" or "She looks just like you." or "Look how cute she is!" What would you say and do?

I am a birthmom and I think adoption is wonderful IF done for the RIGHT reasons. But you hear so many people come through Answers and ridicule young women who are thinking about placing their unborn child ("You make it, you keep it." and "If you don't want the responsibility, get an abortion"). While I know there are agencies and lawyers who are unethical and co-erce expectant moms, fail to properly inform the expectant father, and lie to prospective adoptive parents, what of those who do everything right? What about those of us who KNEW we were in no way capable of caring for a child, no matter how much we loved them? What about those couples who could not have babies of their own and are overjoyed when the expectant mother picks them? No money is exchanged. Just lots of tears and hugs and happiness. My little girl is three months old. I just recently got a pic. I have never seen such a happy and healthy little girl. They love her as much as I love her.

My cousin tommy is staying with us for a while. Him and my brother they got into an argument over a stupid game ones claims the other one cheated. The other morning my brother found out that tommy wet the bed took the sheet out of the hamper and hung it out on the clothes line and told some kids on the block about it. All the kids are crucifying him calling him baby he should be wearing Luvs diapers etc. Tommy wont even come out of the house now. My brother was laughing his *** off. How can I get my cousin to get over this? How can I get even with my brother also?

I gained 62 lbs. with my pregnancy (I was in a car accident at 29 weeks and hospitalized and put on bed rest because of a leaking water bag) so I couldn't exercise and gained that excess weight.
So far, I have lost 34 of those lbs., which means I still have 28 lbs. to go!
My concern is; I lost those 34 lbs the first week and a half after delivery!! ever since then I've been at a stand still. Why???
I'm exercising and eating right .. AND breastfeeding! and I drink nothing but water! No juice, no soda, nothing but water! and I drink PLENTY of water..
My question is;
For all of you who lost your baby weight in 6 months .. was there ever a point of "stand still" where you didn't lose for a while?
What am I doing wrong????
I'm literally watching EVERYTHING I eat and exercising EVERYDAY and the breastfeeding isn't helping with the weight loss whatsoever.
Is there a chance I will lose more when I'm done breastfeeding?
**90% of the excess weight is in my tummy .. and 10% in my butt.

I am looking for some advice on how to help my baby sleep better. I used to give him a dummy and rock him to sleep in my arms but i just took the dummy off him 3 days ago and have seen a little improvement and stopped holding him to sleep but know i rock him in the pram to go to sleep. My question is how to teach him to go to sleep by himself without leaving him to cry as i am against the control crying method i think it's mean. I would love to start getting some sleep as my 2 1/2 year old daughter is very active. Also i live in Australia and we are able to give our babies solids at 4 months old, i just started yesterday to give him a little farex and i gave him a bottle at 10pm last night and he slept till 4am but would like him to go a bit longer, Will solids help? When can i give him 2 solids a day?

My daughter is 3...in the UK that means that she starts nursery school in Jan. and full time school in September 08. We may travel to Australia when she's 5 or 6 and stay for a year or two and I may homeschool her while we are there and then re-enrol her at her own school when we return to the UK. My question is, do you think this is a good idea? I thought that homeschooling would be less disruptive than a new school and new kids...she would be returning to the same place she left in the uK and the same kids.Do your kids enjoy homeschooling? Have they got a lot out of it? What are the disadvantages? Thanks everyone!

I am going to be having my first baby any day now - a baby boy ... I am planning on naming him DANIAL ... but I am wondering, does it sound too feminine, being spelled with an -al instead of the usual -el? Also, I want his middle name to be Tristan - is it good for a boy? Thanks for any feedback! :)

My son is almost 8 months old and has nursed since birth. Over the past few months he has not been gaining the weight that he should, but within the last month he only gained 5 oz. when he should have gained a pound. I have to introduce formula and just started yesterday but I can only get him to eat it thickened with rice cereal. I need him to drink it so that he can eat food like before. I need to get creative but don't know what to do. Any other moms have similar problems what did you try? Please help I need my son to gain some weight. I don't plan on quitting breastfeeding but my milk supply is definitely low and my son needs to grow so please don't bash me for supplementing.

BTW he will not take a bottle and will only take sips with a cup. As soon as he tastes it he pushes it away. He is way too young for whole milk so please don't suggest that. Thanks in advance.

Ok im 4 months pregnant and i know its early to start worrying about what to do buti cant help it. My ex stopped talking to me about a month and a half ago. I dont want him to have anything to do with the baby because i finally relised hes no good and i just could not bare the thought of my child having to be living the lifestyle hes ok with. This is his 9th maybe 10th child. I know i know theres more to it but i really dont need any smart answers. He has 3 baby mommas and i gave him a chance thinking he had changed he was my first bf but anyways. Is it possible to get him to sign his parental rights over and still get child support? He doesnt pay for any of the others but because the women dont ask for it. Any advice on what to do? Im just trying to move on with my life but i will need financial help.

My niece is 3. This little girl is pretty spoiled. I love her a lot, but when she is with her mother, she is a monster! Throws unbelievable tantrums and hits and kicks her mom. My SIL is very indulgent with her daughter and ALWAYS makes excuses for her bad behavior (she's over-tired, she's over-hungry, ..etc). My niece was throwing a typical tantrum because she didn't want to eat dinner, she wanted doritos. After kicking, punching and screaming, for about 30 minutes, my SIL gave in and let her have a few doritos saying that if she ate her meat she'd get more. My triumphant niece, exhausted from battle continued to whine while she ate the six doritos. My SIL then did the inbelievable. She turned to her daughter and asked, "do you have a headache? Is that what's wrong, honey? Do you want a tylenol? Will that make you feel better." My niece put on a pout and nodded. My SIL opened the bottle, and gave it to my niece!!! she took out two pills, ate them, and ran outside.

(i feel like I ask so many questions..haha)

But really. I'm pregnant with my 2nd boy. My mother and sister said they aren't throwing me another baby shower because it's "etiquette" that you only get one. What the heck. My first son was born in the summer, this time I'm due on Christmas Eve. None of the previous clothes will fit him at the appropriate times. I still have the big things like high chair, crib, etc... but I have NOTIHNG else.

Is this true everywhere?!
