I had sex August 17th and 18th but i had my period. But im cramping and im having this discharge. Ive been extremly hungry and tired. Last night i was smoking and i started throwing up and i never do that since ive been smokin for years. What is going on with me? Could i be pregnant? Please dont tell me to test.

My friend and I kind of got into a debate the other night. She was talking about how she thinks having her 2 year old in daycare Monday through Friday from 8-5 is better then being a stay-at-home Mom with him because she feels like he gets more socialization. I think that if a mother has a choice that being a stay at home mom is beneficial to a child's well-being and socializing them a couple days a week in addition to that is healthy.

What do you honestly think? Working moms... if you had a CHOICE would you honestly still put your kids in daycare Monday through Friday... or would you stay home with them more?

Just curious.

I never thought that his weight was an issue until my ex brought it up. He hasn't gained significant weight for last couple of checkups at the doctor. Should I be worried? My son is otherwise very energetic and happy and from what I thought, healthy too.

During my labor, I was given pitocin to induce labor. After six hours my labor still wasn't progressing and I asked the nurse to stop the pitocin until I could talk to my doctor and get an epidural She refused like an obstinate child. My baby's vitals were perfect, and he was in no immediate danger. I feel like she violated my patient's rights because I have the right to refuse medical treatment and medications, according to all information on patient's rights I've read.

This is how it works...
Below is a list of names. You copy the list, delete one boys name and one girls name you like least and repost. The next person copy's their list and so we end up with one name at the end-the favourite name. You can only post once. If two people post at the same time can the next person compensated by deleting all of the names that have been minused lol.

So my boyfriend just got a new job a month ago. He just got out of the military after serving 4 years and for now is working at a retail store as a manager trainee. So anyways when he started he told them that we have a baby on the way and that he wanted to take 2 weeks off upon her arrival. The store manager said it was okay. Well now i am scheduled for induction come this monday and he told them that and they said that he is on probation period still and they can not give him any leave besides monday and tuesday. Only two days! So my questions is is there a law in the state of CA that allows for father leave just like mother leave? I know that mothers are allowed to take up to 4 months off unpaid. In regards to him it would be unpaid of course to. Any input you have would be great, thanks. He is thinking about quiting if they do not allow him so any info would be great.

she in 1st grade. when is not tired or hungry she behaves very good. but these days when she comes from school she is all tired and yell at me. if she does not get what she want she started to hit me. i take her Toys and TV. away. after she is calm down she say sorry and says i won do it again. problem is next day when she comes home from school it happens again. her school is full day. today she said mommy i cant stop this. is this normal to 6.5 year old to have melt downs when they are tired which is every day? her eating habbits are not good also. are there any kind of vitamins which can help her so she does not get so much tired after school? one more thing is when she in that phase she expect me to do what she says which i do not do, should i give in untill she calm down? she is very strong willed child since she is born. i also suspect she has ADD but never got diagnosed beecause she does good in school. she follows her teacher very well.
thanks in advance.

When I was a kid they sent you to school if you hit the cut off date. my husband was 4 and turned 5 in oct. the year he started school. Now they are trying to say that if you are 4 you are to young that you should wait to start? What has the world come to that we are going to baby our children now. SO many EXTREEMLY smart kids that graduated with me were younger than the others cause they started at 4. NOW NO GOD FORBID you start your 4 year old in kindergarten cause the other kids are almost 6 and yours is to immature compared to them. Plus when we went to kindergarten the majority of our time was learning to color in the lines and our ABC's and Numbers. Now they are already teaching them how to read on the 3rd week. I didn't learn to read till 1st or 2nd grade. Does anyone else think this is sad the way we baby our children now days? And the way we expect so much out of them in kindergarten that they can't start at 5 because they won't learn that stuff so young they need to be 6?

i'm super undecisive about my baby's name. it's a monumental decision for me (first baby). I don't even know if i want paper or plastic at the drug store or if i should weare a thong or briefs.

so here's my drama: everytime i pick a name right. let's say...jessica...then i watch tv. and if i see a girl named jessica on tv who'se fat and pimple, there goes the name that i worked so hard to pick.

I am four weeks pregnant and my doctor told me it was too early, even though a blood test and several home tests have confirmed. The office told me to wait until I was at least seven or eight weeks for the first appointment. Is this normal for a first time pregnancy?

A cousin of mine use to suck her thumb when she was really little. She stopped as she got older, but now she's in her teens and is starting to suck her thumb again. I know that if you suck your thumb when you're younger, a lot of people need braces because of it. But if you're older and you start it again, will it still mess up your teeth? And if not, is there anything 'wrong' with doing it?

My two ex-friends put a wad of chewed gum on my combination lock at school. I don't have proof, but I know it was them because they are the only enemies I have, and are the kind of people who would do something like that.

If I rat on them, nothing will happen. It will be considered too petty.

I just want to do something about it to make them realize that I mean business and they shouldn't mess with me. Ideas?

I have had an abortion in the past and it was the worst thing I have done, it is a complicated story, and at the time there was a VERY valid reason for it. Now I'm in a very stressful situation, I know people don't believe in accidents, but gettin pregnant this time was an accident of sorts (my bf took the condom off mid sex - I truly didn't know).
I suffer from depression and I already have a 7 month old girl and a 22 month old boy. The thought of another one is too much to bear sometimes, especially as it's hard to motivate myself with 2 (which I do and I love them VERY much).
I am 12 weeks now, but by the time I have seen a doctor and got a hospital app, it will prob be another few weeks.
I hate this, what should I do??

My daughter has a best friend, and they used to play together all the time. My daughter would go over there most of the time (because they are overprotective). At some point in time, the mother has changed her attitude toward me, and I don't get it. The father is still friendly, but I have felt awkward approaching him about anything--I don't want to alienate her any further by making her jealous. I know she is trying to get into better shape, and I am wondering if there might be jealousy. I have tried everything from asking her flat out what's wrong to practially begging her to let my daughter, who is heartbroken, come over again. When I asked what I did to offend her, she said there wasn't anything. She just says they are too busy, and they never invite my daughter, who is heartbroken over it. When I see her at the school, she completely snubs me, which really hurts. I don't know what I did, and it really embarrasses me. How can I explain this to my daughter?

I actually took two since the box brings two, the first line was very dark but the second looks faint. After reading several questions here I realize that a faint line is a line no matter what so that must mean I'm pregnant. Now I want to get a blood test but I'm not sure where to go? Do I just go to the local hospital, do I need to make an appointment, and how much will it cost me? I don't have a doctor so I'm kind of lost here. I live in Bronx NY. Any feedback people? Thanks.

So I have been reading up on fertility ever since DH and I decided to start TTC after christmas. I know that is its only ballpark that women ovulate on day 14. Well I had a 31 day cycle in July and a 34 day cycle in August. According to the ballpark date, I should have ovulated on August 17th. AF came September 5th. Well my question stems from the fact that I had eggwhite discharge nearly a week after the 17th of August. Do you only get eggwhite when you ovulate? I have always had it but never associated it with just one day in my cycle when I ovulate. I'm wondering if I actually did ovulate that late, on roughly August 24th that is a 12 day luteal phase. Sorry if it all sounds confusing. I think 12 days is ok, but I'm worried that I'm creeping up to the 10 day mark! Is your luteal phase constant?
