I just made some toast and half way through eating it I saw a spec of mould on the crust, will it make me or my baby ill? I am 17 weeks pregnant. I did check the date, it goes off tomorrow :/

On sunday i started with morning sickness, and had it yesterday too, I havent had it today, is my baby ok? Is it normal for it to apper then just go!?
Im worried, i have my first appointment with the midwife on monday, but that seems like ages away. Just want to some reassurance that its ok!

OK, so we're going for -- Joseph Adam -- for the boy's name ! What do you think ? We really like the name Joseph so we're NOT changing that. Anyway, but we have problems naming the girl. I like the name Jamie (even though ALOT of people told me that the names sucks and that I shouldnt name my baby girl that name etc etc. but I dunno I'm so conviced that this name is the name I want). So yeahh, but what middle name goes with Jamie ? I need a middle name that starts with the letter ' A ' cause her twin brother's middle name starts with an ' A ' too ! So yahh, any suggestions ? Back in 2005 i lost twin girls at 5 1/2 months and a baby boy when i was 11 weeks pregnant and i was very depressed ...sometimes i still am..and i call their names out hoping that i hear a "yes mommy" and i dont so i yell at them for not answering me....i was looking forward to my babies and having a good life with them...i still miss them but sometimes i dont think im ok in the head....i have a son now and i love him to death but im still trying to cope with the death of my children...is there anyone with any advice on how i can be happier and not worry my husband so much ?..i tell him so much of how i feel and i worry him but i need to talk about it...any advice?

i'm 19 and would love to have a baby with my 22 year old boyfriend. we've been together for over a year (will be 2 years when the baby's born)!

The other day i told my mum about my desire to have a baby (mentioning that if i get pregnant next month i would have the baby during my 3 months off from university - so i would have time with the baby)!

My mum said i should enjoy my life first and wait to have a baby. I've already decided that i want a baby before i finish university (in 4 yrs) and preferrably before i'm 21. Is it a good idea for me to have a baby nexy year (when i'm almost 20) or should i wait?

What do you think? What would you do?

My daugher is 8 1.2 month old, i just wondering when to start to put her to sleep in crib , when is the best time to put her to sleep at night? because everytime she fell asleep on me, i try to put her to crib then she woke up crying, and i dont know what to do ? and when should i start to put a time of everyday to put her to sleep? i want the best for the baby. should i wait untill she sleep longer on me then put her to sleep? my daughter have to sleep with me, i want her to be on her own cuz im still breastfeeding her.. just give me your opition, im still young mother and want to do the best for her.. Okie Dokie. Just to clear the air, here's my stats:
~I'm 40 weeks 5 days pregnant
~I'm 3cm dilated
~I'm 90% effaced
~I lost my mucus plug about a day and a half ago
~Today my doctor stripped my membranes

All evening this has been going on:
~My stomach tightens up REAL tight and I get this horrible cramping feeling in my mid-lower belly and it sometimes spreads around my sides.

Now don't get me wrong, it's VERY painful..but it's bearable. Which leads me to think it's not labor.
This is my first baby, so I have no idea what I'm doing. Is this possibly just a side effect of my Doc stripping my membranes? Or could I be in the early stages of labor?

The doctor told me only to call if I have contractions 10 min. or less apart. And these probably happen about every 15-20 min. So what does that mean?

Any advise would be much appreciated..I'm pretty uncomfortable :-S

My wife is about 5 weeks and 3 days at the min but we're still so scared of things going wrong - can't seem to relax at all...we had 2 miscarriages this year so I suupose it's understandable...she had an appointment with her GP on Fri past who was quite happy to hear that she was nauseous and had vomitting - said it was a good sign! Have an early scan now for the 18th in the hospital so hopefully that will go ok too..she gets waves of nausia..sore boobs sometimes...gets tired very easily...feels bloated all the time and i've noticed her getting up at 5am to go pee!! Hopefully this is all normal and hopefully we'll start to relax soon! I'll keep you all posted ...

I'm 37 weeks along. For the past 2 days I've been having sharp pains in my pelvis when I walk or move the wrong way. It feels like my baby has dropped (less trouble breathing/more pressure on bladder). And my breasts are leaking colostrum.

My hubby is going out of town tomorrow for a week. Could I be going into labor now, or could this last awhile?

It's my 3rd preganncy. The last 2 went to 41 weeks. I didn't notice these symptoms with them.

6 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, I had a horrible experience. It is now preventing me from having one more child (which I really want) because I am so scared.
When I was 32 weeks along I was having some cramps so, I made an appointment with the hospital and went in for a check-up. They did a test with nitrazine strips for amniotic fluid and they said it came back positive and that I had premature rupture of the membranes.
In that moment, my whole world changed. I was told that I would have to stay in the hospital for the remaining 8 weeks. I had to sign papers for them to rush my daughter to the children's hospital immediately after birth. I was given a series of cortisone shots to strengthen my daughter's lungs and I was put on an I.V. to prevent any contractions from starting.
After I came to my senses, I demanded that they give me an ultrasound to check on my baby. She was fine and there was NO visible signs of missing amniotic fluid. Continued...

Hi all, I am 22+3 today, and was on the tram on the way to work. I had a seat and it wasnt busy. All of a sudden, had this massive heat over me and felt very light headed. As i stud up, i passed out back onto the chair. 2 ppl had to help me off the train, i needed the air. Anyways, im in work now, but i still feel very warm, and now i have a headache to go along as well. Have had no spotting or anything like that, but have yet to feel the baby kick thanks

It doesn't. Really and if you were to control yourself we know you masturbate. If you masturbate that is a sin in the Bible too, so what defines sin? Christians always want to pull sex ed out of schools, and kick out the condoms and then they wonder why teenagers are walking around highschool pregnant. Why can't they give and take, and be more observant to thier actions? I can't think of one person who decided to be sexually abstinance and actually followed through. It isn't healthy. Why can't we have sex Ed as a mandatory class? If parents don't know then who will?

Seriously, I've seen so many people on this site judge others about anything from breastfeeding to spanking. Ultimately, you cannot decide what is best for someone else's children. How you choose to raise your child is none of my business, and me choosing to breastfeed or spank my child is not your business.

I think it's rude that people can come one here, and just be so disrespectful.

Mainly this stems from someone comparing spanking to what happened to Kelsey Briggs. Kelsey was not given a light tapping on the bottom. She was kicked violently in the stomach. How can someone not see how different that is? It just isn't fair that mothers are being attacked on here for spanking or chosing not to breastfeed.

Sorry, I'm pregnant, hormonal, and frusterated.

I used a test this morning and followed all instructions to see whether i have enough FSH or not and it showed all fine, but it said it must be done on the morning of day 3. On Saturday i had a tiny show of brown stuff but always do the day before i actually start my period properly. Should this have been counted as day one, therefore making today day 4 and the test not correct?
